Jakub Voracek moved back up to the Flyers' top line about halfway through the game. Voracek has bounced between the first and third lines after being projected to play primarily with Claude Giroux. Flyers coach Peter Laviolette is interested in having three relatively balanced scoring lines, but given the team's lack of offense over their first two games, it wouldn't be surprising if Voracek starts Philadelphia's next contest on a stacked top line.

Jakub Voracek isn't concerned by the possibility of staying on Philadelphia's third line going into Saturday's match-up against Montreal. He was complimentary of Sean Couturier and Max Talbot and is looking to contribute regardless of where he plays. Voracek saw some time with Claude Giroux in the Flyers' loss to Toronto and he logged plenty of power-play minutes, so fantasy owners shouldn't be too concerned either. Once he returns to speed from the lower-back injury he had during the preseason, it's possible that he'll play on the team's top line again.

Jakub Voracek (back) was able to play in the Philadelphia Flyers' season opener. The bad news is that Voracek played on the third line instead of his projected top line role. "We're trying to get a balance on scoring throughout [the lineup]," said coach Peter Laviolette. Even still, Voracek's fantasy value could take a significant hit if he doesn't play on a more favorable eye. Voracek owners will want to keep a close eye on this situation.

Jakub Voracek (back) took part in Monday's practice. "Today's practice, basically for the first time, I feel a little better every time I skate," Voracek said on Monday. He's very optimistic about his chances of playing on Wednesday.

Jakub Voracek (upper body) started practice Sunday but left early. "That was the plan going in," coach Paul Holmgren said. "I believe he was out there 35-40 minutes then take him off the ice and hold him back a little bit. He's doing fine. I have no doubt in saying he will be a player on Wednesday." CSN Philadelphia thought that the injury could be to his lower back. Voracek had an outstanding season in 2013 with 46 points in 48 games. We see Voracek getting 25-30 goals and 75 points this season and draft him accordingly.

Philadelphia Flyers GM Paul Holmgren said that Jakub Voracek should be able to play in the team's season-opener on Wednesday. Voracek had a breakthrough season in 2013, scoring 22 goals and collecting 46 points in 48 games. His 17.1 shooting percentage indicates that he might slip a bit, but the pedigree and linemate talent is there.

Jakub Voracek (upper body) may play in Philadelphia's preseason finale Friday night. He isn't expected to be in the lineup for Thursday's exhibition contest versus New Jersey. Voracek suffered an upper-body injury earlier this week, but it doesn't look like it will keep him out for very long.

Jakub Voracek (upper body) didn't skate on Wednesday. Voracek didn't offer much in the way of new information on Wednesday. He sustained the injury on Tuesday and Flyers GM Paul Holmgren doesn't think it's serious.

Jakub Voracek's upper body injury isn't serious, according to Flyers GM Paul Holmgren. Voracek suffered the injury when he was hooked during a breakaway. He was awarded with a penalty shot, which he took before leaving the game. He wasn't scheduled to play on Thursday even if he was healthy, but he might end up playing in the Flyers' preseason finale on Friday.

Jakub Voracek left Tuesday's preseason game against New Jersey with an upper body injury and will not return. Voracek was taken down on a rush and crashed into the post, hurting his lower back in the process. He took the penalty shot he was awarded on the play but then left the game. We will update the severity of the injury when the Flyers release more information.
