Jakub Voracek scored a goal in Philadelphia's 7-2 loss on Wednesday. Voracek has found the back of the net in back-to-back games and snapped his seven-game point drought in the process. He's still taken a huge step back in 2013-14 with five goals and 14 points in 31 games.

Jakub Voracek is in a slump again as he has not scored a goal in his last nine games. Voracek has only three goals this season in 26 games with two coming on November 12, the last time he potted a goal. Voracek has only 12 points in 26 games this season after getting 46 in 48 games in the shortened 2012-13 season. The 24-year-old has been a major disappointment to the Flyers and his fantasy owners but you would be selling as low as he will get fantasy-wise, if you traded him at this time.

Jakub Voracek scored twice in Philadelphia's 5-0 victory on Tuesday. Voracek now has three goals and seven points in 17 games this season. Like most of the team, Voracek has been cold offensively this season. The Flyers are showing signs of heating up though and that's great news for Voracek.

Jakub Voracek has rejoined Claude Giroux and Scott Hartnell on Philadelphia's top line. Philadelphia's offense has been absolutely dreadful this season, but Voracek and Giroux did well together last season. The hope is that this move might help spark the team and if it does, then that line will probably stay intact for quite some time.

Voracek had been suffering from back problems but hopefully the injury is behind him. He now has four points with a minus-one rating this season. Grab him if you can as he has plenty of upside.

"I don't want to make excuses that I got hurt in the preseason, because someone could say [that's why] I don't have a goal yet," Voracek said. "Obviously, I can be way better. I have three secondary assists in eight games. Everybody would have higher expectations. I'm trying to get to that level where I was in the preseason. I think these [practice] days will help me." Voracek is referring to the week off the Flyers had between their game on Oct. 17 and Thursday's contest against the New York Rangers. The time off has given the Flyers a chance to reset after their 1-7-0 and the same is true for it's struggling forwards, of which Voracek is one of many.

Jakub Voracek had a maintenance day on Saturday. Coach Craig Berube said that Voracek 'tweaked' his right knee in the 4-1 loss to the Penguins but expects him to be fine for Thursday's game. He has three assists in eight games but look for him to heat up once the Flyers start finding their offensive game.

Jakub Voracek is still feeling the effects of the lower-back injury that plagued him during the preseason. "I'm still getting there," Voracek said. "I'm not used to being hurt or missing a week. I hadn't played a real game in 6 months before [the season started]. I'm finally getting into game shape." Voracek felt that Tuesday's contest was a step forward for him. He has an assist in four games this season.

Jakub Voracek joined Vincent Lecavalier and Brayden Schenn during Tuesday's morning practice. This combination is expected to play in coach Craig Berube's debut appearance behind the bench for Philadelphia. Voracek has no points and just two shots in the Flyers' first two games of the season.
