The 23-year-old has also continued to enjoy heavy usage as well in the playoffs, as he's averaging nearly 17 minutes of ice time, and 1:48 of time on the power-play. Last season's playoffs were arguably Guentzel's breakout with 21 points (13 goals, eight assists) in 25 games, and so far in 2017-18, he's picked up where he left off.

Hard to imagine a better night for Guentzel, as he was the only Penguin to score a point in all three periods. When Pittsburgh's attack is firing like it did on Wednesday, almost anyone in black and gold is a good option, and that goes double for a player like Guentzel, who has a tendency to produce big scoring nights when he gets going.

The 23-year-old will continue to have big games as long as he's skating alongside Sidney Crosby, but that volatility makes him a much better DFS play in tournaments than cash game formats.

This was the winger's fourth multi-point showing through his past 10 games, and he has five goals and six assists during the stretch. However, it's also important to note that he missed the scoresheet entirely in five of those outings. Guentzel's game-to-game inconsistency makes him a high-risk, high-reward option in daily contests, but seasonal owners should probably just ride it out. Pittsburgh is leading the league in goals per game since the All-Star break, so it's a juicy fantasy setup for Guentzel.

This was the seventh multi-point outing from Guentzel, who tends to use the multipliers to compensate for a lack of game-to-game consistency. The feisty winger has now matched his 33-output from his rookie campaign in 2016-17, but it's taken him 21 more games to reach that mark this time around.

The second-year winger hasn't scored at the same pace as last season, as he now has just 18 goals and 30 points through 58 games. However, the Penguins are trending in the right direction, and Guentzel's been promoted to the No. 1 power-play unit with Patric Hornqvist (lower body) out of action. It shouldn't surprise if Guentzel finished the campaign strong.

Guentzel was able to find some open ice right in front of netminder Cam Ward and linemate Phil Kessel put the puck right on the youngster's tape for a one-time goal. After a record-setting postseason run, many expected the 22-year-old Guentzel to continue that torrid pace into the 2017-18 campaign. While he has certainly cooled a bit, the winger has still racked up 25 points in 50 outings and seems to be relishing playing alongside Kessel.
