Guentzel scored two goals on three shots during Wednesday's Game 2 win over Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
The postseason goals leader is up to 12 total and also has 19 points through 21 games. The 12 tallies are an NHL record for a rookie in the playoffs, too. He's currently sporting an unsustainably high 28.6 postseason shooting percentage and is just two outings removed from an eight-game goal drought, though. Guentzel's impact cannot be understated, especially his timely goal scoring, but he's also been seeing time on the fourth line and has even been discussed as a potential healthy scratch at times. His historic playoff run highlights his significant offensive potential and fantasy upside, but expecting him to post similar numbers over the course of an 82-game regular season is probably a stretch.

Guentzel scored the winning goal -- Pittsburgh's fourth -- in Monday's Game 1 victory over Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Pittsburgh allowed Nashville to score three unanswered goals and recover from a 3-0 deficit, so not only was it a huge goal for Guentzel, the Penguins needed it badly. After scoring nine goals through the first 10 games of the playoffs, Guentzel went without a tally over the next eight games entering Monday. His speed, quick-release wrist shot and offensive acumen have been on display since breaking into the league in November, and he showcased all three again on Monday's goal. Guentzel's fantasy arrow is pointing straight up.

Guentzel skated on a fourth line with Matt Cullen and Patric Hornqvist during pre-game warmups prior to Game 1 on Monday, Sam Werner of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Guentzel's goal-scoring well has gone dry -- he hasn't scored in eight games -- but his style of play sets up better against the Predators than the Senators. As a result, it looks like he'll remain active, at least for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final. Fellow forward Carl Hagelin didn't skate in the pre-game, an indication he won't play Monday.

Guentzel rotated on the fourth line during Sunday's practice, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
After potting an NHL-leading nine goals through the first 11 games of the playoffs, the rookie's gone ice cold. Guentzel hasn't scored in eight games, chipping in with only three assists. Whether he's hitting a wall or nursing an undisclosed injury, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Pens bench Guentzel on Monday, especially with Patric Hornqvist nearing a return.

Guentzel collected two assists -- one on the power play -- during Friday's Game 4 win over Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
Held off the scoresheet through the first three games of the series, Guentzel broke out in Game 4. He's now up to nine goals and 16 points through 16 postseason games, and Guentzel's role alongside Sidney Crosby makes him a high-ceiling asset in all fantasy settings. Additionally, with Patric Hornqvist (upper body) out of the lineup, it's been Guentzel that's slotted in with the No. 1 power-play unit. That's another huge virtual boon for the rookie.

Guentzel scored his ninth goal of the postseason during Monday's Game 6 loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie has been an offensive force during the playoffs with 13 points through 11 games. It's also impressive that he's remained prolific despite bouncing around the lineup, albeit flanking either of Sidney Crosby or Evgeni Malkin is a cushy fantasy gig. However, Guentzel's current 37.5 shooting percentage is ripe for negative regression, and it'll be difficult for him to score at a similar pace next season.

Guentzel scored a goal and added an assist in a 3-2 win over the Capitals on Wednesday in Game 4.
EDGE Analysis
After an impressive rookie debut with 33 points in 40 games, Guentzel has kept the party going in the playoffs with eight goals and four assists in nine games against Columbus and Washington. He's been dynamite so far this series with six points in four contests, and has been a fantasy godsend for those savvy enough to roll with the youngster in postseason pools.

Guentzel practiced in Patric Hornqvist's spot on the team's top power-play unit during Monday's morning skate.
EDGE Analysis
The red-hot rookie finished 12th on the Pens in power-play ice time (1:22) during the regular season, primarily skating on a second unit, and scored just one goal. Guentzel's already potted one power-play score in the postseason and leads the league with seven goals. He's also added three assists and ranks fourth in overall points behind three of his teammates.

Guentzel scored two goals and added and assist during Saturday's Game 2 win over Washington.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie has been an offensive machine during the playoffs with seven goals and 10 points through seven games. Guentzel's hot stretch actually dates back to the regular season, as he's posted 17 goals and 31 points over his past 25 games. Guentzel appears to be locked in with Sidney Crosby at five-on-five, and while his salary is rising across the daily industry, his production warrants nightly consideration.

Guentzel potted a hat trick, including the overtime game-winner, in Game 3 against Columbus on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
He's doing it all right now, scoring on the power play Sunday after collecting only one power-play goal in 40 regular-season contests. Guentzel has four goals and one assist in three playoff games. He missed time late in March due to concussion but has played his best hockey since returning.
