His goal Tuesday ticked off his skate while he was camped out in front of the net. The rookie continues to surpass expectations despite a 5-foot-10, 167-pound frame.

Guentzel scored the first power-play goal of his career in a 3-2 victory against the Hurricanes on Sunday.

The 22-year-old has been really impressive in his young career. He has a whopping 13 goals and 27 points in 37 career NHL games. Despite missing five contests due to a concussion recently, he hasn't skipped a beat, scoring twice in two games since returning. Guentzel is firmly entrenched on Pittsburgh's top line with Sidney Crosby and should also continue to see power-play time as long as several other key regulars for the Penguins remain sidelined.

However, he spent the majority of Friday's game on Sidney Crosby's flank, so if he sticks there, Guentzel is primed for a solid fantasy finish.

Guentzel (concussion) could skate on the Sidney Crosby line Friday. "There's a possibility he'd play there," coach Mike Sullivan said. "They've had some chemistry in the past, that's one option we have. We've got some ideas on how we're going to utilize the guys going into the lineup tonight."

While Sullivan didn't confirm that Guentzel would play with Sidney Crosby and Conor Sheary, it'd be downright surprising if the three didn't at least get a chance to rekindle the magic that made them such an explosive trio. Guentzel hasn't played since March 21 due to a concussion.
