With the news, Allen will finish the campaign having posted a 26-15-3 record, 2.35 GAA and .920 save percentage over 47 appearances. The Blues will likely turn to Brian Elliott for the majority (if not all) of the three remaining regular season games, but Allen could return to the mix in the playoffs if he's able to get healthy.
