Allen's overall numbers aren't great, but in his last 15 games he has a 1.81 GAA and a .939 save percentage. The Coyotes are far from a formidable opponent, so there's a good chance Allen could pick your fantasy team up a win Saturday.

Allen's four-game winning streak was snapped in a game that the goalie faced his fewest shots over the past month. He wasn't required to stop too many prime scoring chances, but was unable to rescue the Blues after two mistakes in front of him. The Blues play the second of back-to-back set Thursday in San Jose, so Allen could get the night off in favor of Carter Hutton.

Allen will cover the crease Wednesday as the road starter versus the Ducks, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.

Allen has won each of his last four starts and he'll be stacked against another scorching tender in Jonathan Bernier, who was named the NHL's Second Star for the week ending March 12. The Ducks rank first in the league in faceoff winning percentage, but the quack attack surprisingly isn't that threatening with Anaheim only averaging 29.6 shots per contest -- only six NHL teams are shooting less frequently.

Allen stopped 38 of 39 shots in the Blues' 3-1 win over the Kings on Monday.

Allen came up big in a meeting of the two teams vying for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, winning his fourth consecutive start. More importantly, he's playing with the confidence that was lacking during that stretch at the end of January. He's allowed five goals with a .960 save percentage during his winning streak.

Allen will be between the pipes for Monday's game against the Kings, Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Allen has reeled off three consecutive wins while conceding only four total goals in that span, with two of those victories coming against two Western Conference heavyweights in the Wild and Ducks. Facing the Kings on the road will represent another tough challenge for Allen, but even if he doesn't secure a win, he should at least escape without too much damage to his ratios. The Kings rank 23rd in the NHL in goals per game (2.49) and 15th in the league in power-play percentage.

Allen allowed three goals on 26 shots in Friday's 4-3 victory against the Ducks.

Allen has won each of his three outings in the month of March and he has allowed three or fewer goals in all 13 of his appearances dating back to Jan. 31. After a rough start to kick off the 2016-17 season Allen is starting to resemble the goaltender who shined down the stretch and made Brian Elliott expendable in St. Louis.

Allen is 7-5-0 with a shiny 1.76 GAA and .941 save percentage since the Blues replaced coach Ken Hitchcock and handed the reins to Mike Yeo. Indeed, the fourth-year tender isn't getting blown up as much these days, as he's yielded no more than three goals in a given outing in that 12-game stretch without Hitch. Adding intrigue to his next matchup, Allen will be facing a Ducks team only ranked 22nd in the league by means of averaging 2.37 goals per game on the road. Plus, this will be Anaheim's third game in four days.

Allen made 32 saves in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Wild.

Allen has surrendered just one total goal in consecutive victories after giving up 10 without a win over the previous four. His 2.57 GAA and .908 save percentage aren't terribly impressive, but Allen has been significantly better since Mike Yeo took over as head coach on Feb 1. In 12 appearances under the new regime, Allen is 7-5-0, and has held eight of 12 opponents to two or fewer goals.

Allen rebounded from a four-game losing streak to blank the Avalanche on Sunday, despite taking a puck to the throat. It appears the netminder is not suffering an undue effects from the incident and will not miss a start. The 26-year-old is 2-1-0 versus Minnesota this season and will be looking for his third win over the Central Division leaders.
