Allen stopped 25 of 28 shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
The loss was the first in five starts for Allen, who has improved his performance over the last two weeks. He had entered the game having won five of six starts with a 1.67 goals-against average and a .941 save percentage. His play has been a big part of the Blues' winning streak that was snapped after six games Saturday, and he's reclaimed the job as St. Louis' No. 1 goalie.

Allen will guard the goal in Saturday's road game against the Sabres, Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has played well in the month of February, compiling a 5-1-0 record while registering an excellent 1.67 GAA and .941 save percentage over six appearances. The 26-year-old goaltender will look to keep rolling and pick up his 23rd win of the campaign in a favorable road matchup with a Sabres team that's only averaging 2.39 goals per game at home this season, 27th in the NHL.

Allen saved just 18 of 21 shots during Thursday's win over Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
While it wasn't a sparkling showing from Allen, he's now 5-1 with a .941 save percentage since Mike Yeo took over behind the St. Louis bench. It isn't out of the question that the 26-year-old goalie's strong play will continue through the end of the season, either. He checks out as a solid No. 2 goalie for virtual clubs and is worth considering against favorable opponents in daily contests.

Allen will guard the goal in Thursday's home game against the Canucks, Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has been red-hot in the month of February, posting a 4-1-0 record with a superb 1.40 GAA and .953 save percentage over five appearances. The 26-year-old backstop will look to pick up a fourth consecutive win in a favorable home matchup with a Canucks team that is a dismal 8-18-3 on the road this season.

Allen was named the league's No. 2 star for the week ending Feb. 12, Tom Timmerman of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. He went 3-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and .967 save percentage.
EDGE Analysis
The recognition comes less than a month after Allen's job as St. Louis' starting goalie was in peril. He survived getting pulled from three consecutive starts and being left home for a road trip to reclaim the Blues top spot in net. St. Louis coach Mike Yeo credits Allen's renewed confidence as the prime factor, but the coach also helped with a new defensive scheme in front of the goalie.

Allen's improvement in net coincides with scheme changes on defense implemented by new coach Mike Yeo, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Blues had employed a zone scheme in previous seasons, but this season former coach Ken Hitchcock moved to man-to-man. While man-to-man can be a successful scheme for teams, for St. Louis, it created a lot of odd-man rushes and wide open shots. Since going zone, the Blues have allowed just 1.3 goals per game over six games (5-1). So, as fantasy owners reconsider Allen and wonder if his resurgence is the result of some immeasurable factor like a change in coaches, you can point to changes in front of the goalie that are fueling the improved play.

Allen made 28 saves on 30 shots in a 4-2 victory over the Canadiens on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Blues have managed to finally get Allen rolling, as he's won four of his last five and posted a .953 save percentage during that stretch. In the six games prior to that, he was 0-4-0 with a .811 save percentage. If Allen is on the waiver wire because of his poor play in the first half of the season, it's worth giving him a look. He and Blues new coach Mike Yeo has St. Louis back in playoff positioning.

Allen will start in goal on the road against the Canadiens on Saturday, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
In his first seven outings of 2017, it appeared that Allen wouldn't be able to stop a beach ball in goal -- he went 1-4-0 with an .841 save percentage in that span -- but he's figured it out by winning three of his last four to the tune of a .958 save rate. There's a chance that your fantasy competitors soured on Allen after his lengthy stretch of duds, and now he's about to face a Habs team that has lost four of its past five games.

Allen stopped 31 of 32 shots Thursday, backstopping the Blues' 2-1 overtime victory over the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has been impressive in two straight road wins, stopping 61 of 62 shots directed on net. The Blues have been pleased with Allen's performance since returning from a week off to clear his head, and it looks like he's regained some confidence. He remains the team's No. 1 goalie and should find himself in net Saturday night against the Canadiens in Montreal.

Allen will guard the cage in Saturday's road game against the Maple Leafs, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen was unbeatable in his last start, turning aside all 30 shots he faced en route to an impressive 6-0 victory over the Senators on Tuesday. The 26-year-old netminder will look to pick up his 20th win of the season in an unfavorable road matchup with a Maple Leafs squad that's averaging 3.17 goals per game at home this season, seventh in the NHL.
