Allen stopped 38 shots in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
It's Allen's first win since Feb. 9, as he'd managed a weak .881 save percentage over the last month while dropping five straight decisions. The 27-year-old has struggled this season, posting his worst GAA and SvP in four years, but this performance might have been just what he needed to turn things around -- and turn around the Blues' fading playoff chances.

Allen will start in goal Saturday against host Los Angeles, Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen can improve to 20 wins by taking care of the Kings, but he enters with a weak 2.79 GAA and .906 save percentage through 45 appearances on the season. Give further consideration to the fact that the Kings have gone 7-3-0 over their last 10 games, and this looks like a precarious spot start for Allen, who has reclaimed his No. 1 job from Carter Hutton only because the latter has been dealing with an undisclosed issue.

Allen stopped 34 of 35 shots in Thursday's loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
It was a great performance from Allen, who made a surprise start in place of Carter Hutton (neck). Hutton was injured after the team's morning practice, meaning Allen would make his first since being pulled against the Wild over a week ago. The 27-year-old got on track with a fantastic outing in which the Blues were completely outplayed by the Sharks. Allen falls to 19-20-2 on the season with a .906 save percentage. The Blues are in desperate needs of points and will look to Allen to deliver down the stretch as they try to sneak into the postseason.

Allen will guard the goal in Thursday's road game against the Sharks, Kevin Kurz of The Athletic Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carter Hutton was originally announced as the Blues' starter Thursday morning, but he sustained an injury during his team's morning skate, so Allen will take over and guard St. Louis' cage in San Jose. The 27-year-old netminder has been stuck in a significant slump recently, compiling an 0-2-0 record while posting an ugly 4.72 GAA and .843 save percentage in his last three appearances. He'll look to right the ship in a road matchup with a Sharks squad that's averaging 3.31 goals per game at home this season, 10th in the NHL.

Allen allowed three goals on eight shots before being pulled after the first period of Tuesday's 8-3 loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Allen dropped to 2-14-0 since Dec. 12, as he's become nearly impossible to rely on for both the Blues and fantasy owners. He now owns a .904 save percentage and 2.83 GAA for the campaign, and until there are signs of progress between the pipes, Allen should be viewed as a high-risk option.

Allen will start in goal Tuesday against the Wild in Minnesota, the Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Blues appear committed to sticking with Allen through his struggles, which have been mighty of late. Allen has allowed four goals apiece in his last two starts and has lost four straight between the pipes. Despite the showings, Thomas notes that Tuesday marks the first time since late December that Allen will make three consecutive starts in the blue paint. The 27-year-old netminder will attempt to get back on track and shut down a Wild club averaging 3.42 goals per game since the All-Star break.

Allen allowed four goals on 39 shots in a 4-0 loss to the Predators on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old hasn't had a good season, and his play has gotten progressively worse this month. He is 1-5-0 with a .888 save percentage in February, including a .870 save percentage in his last four starts. At least backup Carter Hutton hasn't played well lately either, so Allen should receive the opportunity to move out of this slump.

Allen will be between the pipes for Sunday's game versus Nashville, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch of reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although Allen is starting to receive the majority of the starts in St. Louis, he's allowed at least two goals in each of his last 11 starts, and has just a .885 save percentage during that span. A tough matchup awaits him in the Sunday matinee as well, since Nashville scores the eight most goals per game (3.12) in the NHL, and currently sit atop the Central Division.

Allen made just 19 saves during Friday's 4-0 loss to Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
This loss drops Allen to 1-8-0 through his past 11 appearances. His fantasy value continues to plummet, and Carter Hutton continues to strengthen his case to be the clear-cut No. 1 in St. Louis. Fantasy owners that have remained patient with Allen should weigh their options because it's been two months since he's been a reliable asset. However, his body of work easily trumps Hutton's, so it's a case-by-case situation.

Allen will be the home starter of Friday's game against the Jets, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic St. Louis reports.
EDGE Analysis
After winning 10 of 14 games and posting a .940 save percentage, starter Carter Hutton is beginning to revert to the mean, dropping his last two decisions and accruing a .875 save percentage and 3.53 GAA along the way. This looks like the perfect chance for Allen to steal his rightful starting job back, but his struggles lately don't make it look promising. Allen has just one win in the last five games and a .897 save percentage in that stretch. It's not all up to him either, since in three of his last four starts the Blues have given him just one goal of offensive support, making Allen a risky start in most settings.
