Andersen will start in goal Saturday evening, facing the Capitals on home ice, Paul Hendrick of Leavs TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is Andersen's first time seeing the Capitals in a Leafs sweater, and he's struggled a bit against Metropolitan Division teams this season, as evidenced by a 1-2 record and .919 save percentage. Worse yet, Alex Ovechkin and Co. have won four of their last five games with 17 goals over that span. You're bound to find better goalie matchups on the nine-game slate.

Andersen made 27 saves in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Both Canes' goals came on specials teams -- one on the power play and the other shorthanded. Andersen earned the game's third star for his performance. Now all he needs some offensive support.

Andersen will start between the pipes in Tuesday's home game against the Hurricanes, NHL.com's David Alter reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has played well lately, posting a 2-1-0 record with an impressive 1.68 GAA and .944 save percentage over his last three appearances. The Danish backstop will look to pick up his ninth win of the season against a hot Hurricanes team that has won four consecutive games.

Andersen made 27 saves in Toronto's 2-1 loss to Montreal on Saturday night.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen's game has come together nicely now that he's caught onto coach Mike Babcock's system. His goals-against average is still above three (3.16 heading into Saturday's game), but his save percentage is finally climbing (.907). Andersen was sharp Saturday, but not perfect. And he needs to come close to that level every game to keep his team in the hunt.

Andersen will start between the pipes in Saturday's road game against the Canadiens, Paul Hendrick of Leafs TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen was sharp in his last outing, stopping 26 of 27 shots en route to a 6-1 win over the Panthers on Thursday. The Danish netminder will look to pick up his ninth win of the season in a difficult road matchup with a Canadiens team averaging 3.64 goals per game at home this season, fifth in the NHL.

Andersen made 26 saves in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
He wasn't exactly pushed hard or overworked by the Panthers, but Andersen was sharp regardless. He's rounding into form after a queasy start to the season.

Andersen will man the crease against Florida on Thursday, David Alter of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite recording a trio of victories, Andersen's performance in his last five appearances have been disappointing at best, as he's registered a 3.58 GAA and .905 save percentage. The netminder's teammates certainly aren't making it easy for him as the Leafs are allowing a league worst 34.3 shots on goal per game, which should be a red flag to fantasy owners.

Andersen stood tall Tuesday and delivered a 32-save, 6-2 win over the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
The Great Dane is 5-2 in November and has banished early season complaints about his play. Andersen's GAA and save percentage are still a work in progress, but that, too, should come.

Andersen will defend the net Tuesday against the Predators, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
After a solid run of four games, Andersen has been shaky again in the blue paint over his last four contests, allowing 14 goals over that span. Nashville has begun finding the back of the net recently, tallying 11 goals over the last three contests. This may present a challenge for Andersen yet again as he looks to end his current funk.

Andersen stood on his head Saturday, making 45 saves in a 4-1 loss to the defending Stanley Cup champs, the Pittsburgh Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
The game was a lot closer than the score suggests. The Pens scored a goal with 18 seconds left in the second to move into the lead and they never looked back. Andersen is 4-2 in November and has allowed just nine goals in those four wins. But he has allowed eight in the two losses. Leafs' fans are already barking that he may be a massive overpayment, but we're giving him a longer rope that that.
