Andersen made 26 saves in Saturday's 5-3 loss to Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
He got off to a weak start, surrendering a goal 20 seconds into the game and a second at the 3:47 mark. Andersen has wobbled a bit since the calendar turned -- he has allowed four or more goals in three of his last four games. Andersen needs to gain more consistency, but he's been solid enough to get the Leafs on the verge of a playoff spot.

Andersen will start in the blue paint Saturday night, taking on the Canadiens as the home starter, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen's confidence should be riding high following his 30-save win over New Jersey less than 24 hours ago. If you have shares of the 27-year-old Dane in fantasy leagues, the wish is that he starts playing with more consistency from one game to the next, though it's tough to argue with his six wins in the past eight contests. Montreal has been slammed with injuries up front of late, so that should be a consideration when you chose your starting goaltender on a heavy 12-game slate.

Andersen saved 30 of 32 shots during Friday's win over New Jersey.
EDGE Analysis
Before allowing six goals to Washington on Tuesday, Andersen won 10 of his previous 17 outings with a .942 save percentage and 1.85 GAA, so this was a nice bounce-back win. Between Andersen's high-end results and hefty workload, he continues to be an elite fantasy option.

Andersen will get the starting nod against the Devils on Friday, Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Andersen has just one loss in his last five starts, it was an absolute drubbing at the hands of the Capitals as he allowed six goals to find the back of the net on just 29 shots. The netminder was on the bench the last time the Leafs squared off with New Jersey, but will be looking to capitalize on the Devils weak 2.28 goals per game.

Andersen made 23 saves in a 6-5 overtime loss to Washington on Tuesday night.
EDGE Analysis
He made several brilliant saves, but the game was a wide-open affair with very little defence. Despite his decent play, Andersen's save percentage on the night was a meagre .793.

Andersen will face shots from the Capitals on Tuesday, Paul Hendrick of Leafs TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen is riding a very nice string of play in his last six starts, having won five of them and posting an impressive .949 save percentage during the span. Even when he's not playing his best, he can still manage to get wins thanks to Toronto's blossoming offense that now ranks sixth in the league with 2.97 goals per game. The 27-year-old could have his hands full Tuesday against a Washington offense that averages 30.6 shots on goal per game.

Andersen stopped 33 of 37 shots in a 5-4 overtime victory over the Red Wings on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
He and the Maple Leafs blew a three-goal lead but won in overtime. It was the first time since Nov. 12 that Andersen yielded four goals in a game, but he was still able to capture the victory. That's now four straight wins and five in his last six games. Despite the setback Sunday, Andersen has been an elite goaltender for nearly two months. He is 10-4-3 with a 1.85 GAA and .942 save percentage in his last 17 games.

Andersen will be in the crease for Sunday's tilt with Detroit, Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen had a great month of December, earning a .948 save percentage and a 1.66 GAA. He'll be in good shape to continue the hot streak against Detroit, who is fifth to last in the league with 2.33 goals per game.

Andersen made 45 saves Wednesday in a 3-2 shootout victory over Florida. He stopped the first 29 shots he faced.
EDGE Analysis
It was a duel with Roberto Luongo, who matched Andersen save for save through the game. Andersen has won three straight games and is 4-1 in his last five starts. He has been fantastic since mid-November, allowing two or fewer goals in 14 of his last 16 starts and just three goals in the other two games.

Andersen will be in goal for Wednesday's matchup with Florida, Paul Hendrick of Leafs TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen will make his seventh consecutive start Wednesday and is coming off back-to-back victories in which he allowed a combined on goal. Although the Panthers have just two wins in their last five, they have tallied 14 goals during that stretch and are starting to find their scoring touch, making this a potentially difficult matchup for Andersen.
