Andersen saved 31 of 32 shots during Friday's win over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Since allowing seven goals to Tampa Bay on Oct. 25, Andersen has gone 13-7-3 with a .937 save percentage, and he's only allowed more than two goals in five of 23 games. Andersen is quickly climbing the fantasy ranks and currently checks out as a middling No. 1 goalie in seasonal leagues. His perceived value might not correlate with his statistical production, so don't be shy about attempting to buy low on Andersen.

Andersen will be back in goal for Friday's matchup with Arizona, Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen will get the start in both ends of this back-to-back likely thanks to the Leafs' four-day holiday break. The netminder is coming off his first shutout of the season in a 6-0 demolishing of Colorado on Thursday. On the year, the 27-year-old has lived up to expectations after being given a five-year deal in the offseason. While Andersen's name may not show up at the top of the goalie echelon, he is can provide top-end fantasy value in most formats.

Andersen denied all 38 shots that came his way in Thursday's 6-0 rout of the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
He got staked to a 3-0 lead by the end of the first period, and it never seemed to be in much of any danger. Andersen's delivered save marks of .933 or better in five of his last six outings, representing top-tier production from a guy who struggled mightily to start the year. The Dane has normalized his stats with his strong recent play; in fact, he's sitting on the second-best save percentage (.921) of his four-year career.

Andersen will guard the cage in Thursday's road game against Colorado, Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has been sharp in the month of December, posting a 2-2-3 record with an admirable 1.95 GAA and .934 save percentage over seven appearances. The Danish goaltender will look to keep rolling in a cushy road matchup with an Avalanche team that's only averaging 2.07 goals per game at home this season, 29th in the NHL.

Andersen saved just 25 of 28 shots during Monday's loss to Anaheim.
EDGE Analysis
Entering the game, Andersen had allowed two goals or fewer in 11 of his past 12 starts with a .940 save percentage and a 1.81 GAA during the stretch. So, while this wasn't his best outing, it was certainly a rarity. Andersen isn't going to pad the wins column behind an inexperienced team, but he is providing excellent ratios. He checks out as a fringe No. 1 goalie in seasonal leagues.

Andersen will get the starting nod versus Anaheim on Monday, Dave McCarthy of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite a 1.76 GAA, Andersen has managed just two victories in his last six outings. It is clear the netminder is being hampered by a lack of offensive production from his teammates, given they have managed just seven goals in their previous four contests.

Andersen was the game's first star Saturday after a 33-save, 2-1 overtime win over the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
The Great Dane stymied the Pens' stars time and time again. Andersen has been sharp over the last four, going 2-0-2 and allowing just six goals overall. The two losses came in shootouts.

Andersen will tend twine Saturday as the home starter against the Penguins, Paul Hendrick of Leafs TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen performed admirably -- 1.88 GAA, .933 save percentage -- in Thursday's shootout loss to the Coyotes, so he's being rewarded with his third consecutive start against none other than the league's most dangerous offense. Pittsburgh is scoring more than any other team (3.42 goals per contest), plus the arctic birds are averaging 34.7 shots, but Andersen's team is not far behind at 33.4. Everything considered, there will be better matchups to exploit on Saturday's 10-game slate.

Andersen stopped 28 of 30 shots in a shootout loss to the Coyotes on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Toronto and Arizona played a very exciting 3-on-3 overtime session, but it ended with former Maple Leaf Peter Holland beating Andersen to the five-hole to win the shootout. Andersen has made 100 saves in his last three games, but it's resulted in just one victory and two shootout defeats. Toronto is 0-5 in shootouts this season. Andersen is 11-7-6 with a 2.70 GAA and .916 save percentage.

Andersen gets the starting nod for Thursday's matchup with Arizona, David Alter of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although Andersen has been decent of late, considering he has posted a 1.94 GAA in his previous four outings, wins have still been hard to come by as the netminder is 1-1-2 over that stretch. The Yotes are currently sitting in second to last place in the league, which should bode well for the 27-year-old's chances of notching one in the win column.
