Andersen will protect the net Wednesday against the Jets, Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen struggled in his debut with Toronto, surrendering five goals to Ottawa in an overtime loss. He managed to bounce back in the second contest of the season against Boston, stopping 24 of 25 shots, and will look to keep things rolling as the team travels to Winnipeg to face a team that's averaged three goals per game over the first three contests.

Andersen stopped 24 of 25 shots Saturday in a 4-1 win over the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
He was much sharper Saturday than he was Wednesday against the Sens. Andersen allowed just a single goal on the power play and it was one that he didn't see until the last minute. We can't fault him for that.

Andersen is set to make his home debut against the Bruins on Saturday, Jonas Siegel of The Canadian Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen coughed up five goals on 30 shots in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime opening-night loss to the Senators, but his struggles were largely overshadowed by rookie teammate Auston Matthews blowing a circuit on the opposing goal lamp to the tune of four goals. Andersen certainly will experience peaks and valleys with the Blue and White. Plus, he's used to playing for the Ducks, who sported the league's best defense a season ago. There undoubtedly will be better fantasy goalies on Saturday's hefty 13-game slate.

Andersen allowed five goals on 30 shots during Wednesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen couldn't handle the explosive offense of the Senators, but it's also possible he got caught watching the 2016 No. 1 pick Auston Matthews dazzle on the offensive end. The 27-year-old received a big contract from Toronto in the offseason, but struggled throughout the preseason and continued to do so into Opening Night. The netminder will almost certainly provide inconsistent numbers with his young, rebuilt support cast, but remains one to watch if he's able to pull it together. The Dane will look to bounce back at home against the Bruins on Saturday.

Andersen will get the start in goal in Wednesday's Opening Night matchup with the Senators, Paul Hendrick of Leafs TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Leafs inked Andersen to a five-year, $27.5 million contract this offseason, so expectation are at an all-time high for the 27-year-old netminder. Andersen's play during preseason action has generated some cause for concern, as he posted an 0-2-0 record with a horrendous 4.18 GAA and .841 save percentage over three preseason appearances, exhibiting the difficulties that come with playing behind a team in rebuilding mode. It'll be interesting to see how Andersen fares Wednesday evening, as the Senators were one of the NHL's best offensive teams last season, averaging 2.94 goals per game (fifth in the NHL). Those looking for a goaltender to start in daily contests may want to shy away from Andersen until he draws into a more favorable matchup.

Andersen made 19 saves in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
He was a bit shaky in the first, struggling to handle the puck well behind the net and it led directly to one goal. Andersen settled in after the first and was strong in spots. But as was the case Tuesday and Thursday nights, the Leafs struggled to play a stable and consistent game in front of him. Andersen is discovering the joys and perils of playing behind such a young team. As his owner, you'll soon discover the same come opening night.

Andersen is guarding the backstop for Saturday's preseason finale against Detroit, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen allowed a whopping six goals in Thursday'g game against the Canadians and will look to settle any jitters in the Leafs' final tuneup before the start of the regular season. The 27-year-old netminder produced his best stats of his career last season, logging a 2.30 GAA and .919 save percentage and will look to take another step forward as Toronto's No. 1 goalie during the 2016-17 campaign.

Andersen allowed six goals on 32 shots in Thursday's 6-1 preseason loss to the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
This was an ugly one for the former Ducks netminder, who was left in net for the whole game by head coach Mike Babcock despite the struggles. He wouldn't be the first goalie to regress in Toronto, but it's too early to pass judgement for now.

Andersen will start in net for Thursday's game in Montreal, Paul Hendrick of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen looked good in his preseason debut and will try to solidify his spot as the starter in Toronto heading into the regular season. He was a reliable netminder during his years in Anaheim and he could be the spark that the Maple Leafs need after a dismal 2015-16 campaign.

Andersen (upper body) stopped 12 of 13 shots through 40 minutes Tuesday night against the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen played like he'd never been hurt, so he'll be good to go opening night. The Leafs will finish low in the Eastern Conference, but coach Mike Babcock's system will make them reasonably solid in front of Andersen. The Great Dane will keep his team in games the way his predecessors just couldn't do.
