Andersen is expected to start Monday's game in New York, Paul Hendrick of Leafs TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old hasn't been great, ranking 22nd in the league with a .916 save percentage. However, he has been worse in his last three games, allowing 13 goals on 80 shots.

Andersen made 36 saves in Saturday's wild 6-5 win over Boston.
EDGE Analysis
He woofed on the first shot of the game, but managed to pull out the win. However, Andersen's game was impacted by the slimmer, more contoured pants. The five-hole became a bit bigger to Bruin shooters and they found success. Andersen has allowed 10 goals in his last two games, so expect a period of adjustment with the new equipment.

Andersen will cover the crease Saturday night, as the Maple Leafs are in Boston to take on the Bruins, TSN's Kristen Shilton reports.
EDGE Analysis
Freddie should be relieved to move away from a Central Division opponent, considering the Stars chased him out of the net Tuesday, and then the Blues got the best of him with five goals on 31 shots two days later. The popular story concerning Andersen is how he's going to be switching to slimmer goalie pants for this next contest, but it's going to take more than modified goalie equipment to take down a Bruins team that has won three of its last four games, including 15 scores over that span.

Andersen allowed five goals on 31 shots in Thursday's 5-1 loss to St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen posted back-to-back shutouts heading into the All-Star break, but has allowed eight goals on 39 shots in under four periods of action since play resumed. While the 27-year-old's 2.67 GAA is the worst of his career, that decline in performance was expected to come with the move from Anaheim to a young Toronto team.

Andersen will guard the goal in Thursday's road game against the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was lit up in his last outing, surrendering three goals on eight shots before being yanked in the first period of Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Stars. The Danish netminder posted back-to-back shutouts in his two starts leading up to Tuesday's blowout, so that shaky performance isn't indicative of his recent form. He'll look to bounce back in a tough road matchup with a Blues team that is 16-8-4 at home this season.

Frederik Andersen allowed three goals on the first eight shots he faced in Tuesday's game against the Stars before being pulled with 8:48 to go in the first period.
EDGE Analysis
The All-Star break did Andersen no good apparently, but his defense also didn't do him a lot of favors with lazy play and careless turnovers in the zone. Curtis McElhinney relieved Andersen, but he hasn't been much better. Andersen will get a chance to get back on the horse in St. Louis on Thursday, or in Boston on Saturday. Neither of those matchups are particularly favorable for fantasy purposes.

Andersen will get the start in goal in Tuesday's road game against the Stars, Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has been dialed in lately, shutting out the Leafs' opponent in each of his last two starts. The 27-year-old goaltender will look to pick up his 22nd win of the campaign in a decent road matchup with a Stars team that's averaging 2.88 goals per game at home this season, 17th in the NHL.

Anderson, who rang up a 22-save shutout of the Red Wings on Wednesday night, says he "feels fine" after being shaken up after a collision with one of the opposing players.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen also got the primary assist on the Leafs' fourth goal. He has put up back-to-back goose eggs and is the Leafs first-half MVP. Thank goodness Andersen was able to shake off the effects of the hit; the Leafs would be nothing without him.

Andersen led his team onto the ice for pregame warmups, indicating he'll start between the pipes in Wednesday's road game against the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen was unbeatable in his last outing, turning aside all 26 shots he faced en route to a 4-0 victory over the Flames on Monday. The Danish backstop will look to stay hot in a favorable matchup with a Red Wings team averaging 2.44 goals per game this season, 24th in the NHL.

Andersen is "more than likely" to be Wednesday's road starter versus the Red Wings, considering he was in the visitor's goal for morning skate, David Alter of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Mike Babock is expected to reward Andersen with this next start after he mined a 26-save gem for his eighth career shutout Monday versus the visiting Flames. Interestingly enough, Freddie's gone against the grain this season by maintaining better peripheral stats away from Toronto -- he's posted a .926 save percentage on the road compared to a .914 output on home ice. Detroit has lost three straight games in overtime, so don't be surprised if things get a little chippy in this next contest.
