Andersen will tend the twine for Tuesday's divisional clash with Detroit, Dave McCarthy of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
While he hasn't been perfect this season, Andersen has been the stabilizing presence in goal that Toronto was looking for when they acquired him this offseason. That said, while the Leafs are a talented team, they still have a lot of room to grow. Nowhere is this more evident than despite Andersen posting a 1.92 GAA and .942 save percentage in his last four starts, the team is 0-1-3 in those games. If the Leafs' scoring struggles continue, it will be difficult for the Danish netminder to pick up wins, no matter how well he performs.

Andersen set aside 33 of 35 shots from the Kings on Thursday, but faltered in the shootout.
EDGE Analysis
This was the second strong showing for Freddie, as he had posted a .944 save percentage on the road against the Sharks in his previous start, but now he hasn't emerged victorious in the past four tries. The Buds have added only six goals over this skid, which has kept Andersen's record on the season below .500. Now, he's at 24-14-13 with a 2.73 GAA and .916 save percentage.

Andersen saved 34 of 36 shots during Tuesday's loss to Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
A number of the 34 stops were of the highlight-reel variety, and Andersen held Toronto in the game until the final two minutes. While he's now lost three consecutive outings, his .941 save percentage and 1.95 GAA highlight his improved recent play. Andersen is a fringe No. 1 fantasy goalie in most leagues, but his hefty workload helps buoy his occasional poor outings.

Andersen will defend the crease Tuesday against the Sharks, Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has dropped each of his last two starts in overtime and continues to stroll along with mediocre numbers (2.77 GAA, .914 save percentage) between the pipes this season. His numbers on the road are slightly worse and the 27-year-old netminder faces another tough task Tuesday against a Sharks club that's averaged 3.60 goals per contest over that span.

Andersen made 25 saves in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
He played a strong game, but would probably wish for the winning goal back after he missed on a poke check, leaving the net wide open for the winning goal. Andersen is a solid fantasy play.

Andersen will be between the pipes at home Saturday against the Canadiens, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen will make his third-consecutive start against an Original Six rival. He's coming off a spectacular start against the Rangers, where he stopped 37 of the 38 shots he faced. The 27-year-old backstop isn't going up against a threatening offense either. The Canadiens have only scored more than two goals in regulation once in the last 17 games dating back to Jan. 16. Andersen is a solid pick for most league formats.

Andersen made 37 saves through overtime in a 2-1 shootout loss to the Rangers on Thursday night.
EDGE Analysis
Riding Andersen is a little like strapping into the seat of a roller coaster -- wild ups and downs with little to no control. He is 2-2-1 in his last five starts, but 3-3-3 in his last 10 starts. And Andersen has allowed four or more goals in five of those 10. Bench him until you see some stability in his game.

Andersen will patrol the crease as Thursday's home starter versus the Rangers, David Alter of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Danish tender will field pucks from a Rangers team that boasts the league's second-ranked shooting percentage and is third by means of averaging 3.32 goals per contest. Andersen is seeking to avenge his Jan. 19 loss to the Blueshirts, when he surrendered four goals on 40 shots at home.

Andersen stopped just 16 of 20 shots en route to a 5-4 overtime win against the Jets on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen hasn't even met the lowest standards of competence as a fantasy netminder recently, having given up a ridiculous 33 goals in his last nine outings. That includes five implosions of four goals or more. He's pulled out just three wins in that span, and the Dane can thank his offense for two of those. It's been quite the roller-coaster campaign for Andersen behind a young Leafs squad, but the cumulative stats paint the picture of a roughly average NHL goalie. Perhaps that means he'll go on a hot streak soon to balance out these struggles.

Andersen will be in goal for Tuesday's matchup with the Jets, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen gets the nod in what may shape up to be a goal fest when you factor in that the 27-year-old has posted a 4.05 GAA in his last eight outings combined with the Jets' offense who are averaging 2.87 tallies per game -- ninth best in the NHL. The netminder will likely be an afterthought with the focus on rookie sensations Auston Matthews and Patrik Laine, but fantasy owners will want to make sure they seriously consider alternative options between the pipes.
