Lack stopped 25 of 26 shots in Sunday's win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Lack was recently called out by coach Bill Peters for not being being enough this season, so he responded in the best way possible. While this outing was promising, Lack has had a miserable year, posting a 3-4-2 record with a .883 save percentage. It's hard to recommend the former Canuck in any fantasy format, but who knows, he could use the call out by Peters as motivation and go on a late-season tear. The 29-year-old has shown potential in the past, but he just hasn't been able to get it done since arriving in Carolina.

Lack will be between the pipes for Sunday's tilt in Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Lack has been a poor backup this season, with a miserable .873 save percentage on the year. The Coyotes are near the bottom of the league with 2.36 goals per game, so Lack will get a chance to bump up his season stats against a weak squad.

The Hurricanes might try to move Lack during the offseason, Mike Johnston of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Head coach Bill Peters lit into Lack after Wednesday's overtime loss. While the goalie, head coach and GM Ron Francis hashed it out, Lack might still be moved in the offseason. He reportedly doesn't fit the style the Hurricanes like their goalies to play, and he is a bit of a laid back guy while Peters is very serious. It's not a good mix. Toss in the fact Lack has a $2.75-million salary cap hit with one more year left on his deal and it might mean he is spending his final days as a member of the 'Redvolution'.

Lack was called out by coach Bill Peters following Wednesday's 4-3 OT loss to Tampa Bay. "Eddie's played 10 games and was poor in his last outing, let's not kid ourselves," Peters said. "There were 16 shots, four went in. Not good enough. You look at his numbers in the league, they're not good enough."
EDGE Analysis
Yikes. What's worse, Peters' scathing assessment of Lack's play continued as his answer to a reporter's question of whether there will be a competition for starts between Lack and Cam Ward down the stretch turned into a full-blown rant. Peters indicated Ward was "well ahead" of Lack in the race for starting time, and closed his diatribe with, "When he gets in again, he better play," Peters said. "You better earn some respect from your teammates. Your teammates are out there working their bag off, you better get some saves. And a timely save at the right time wouldn't hurt." Looking ahead, the Canes have a very busy month of March with 16 games in the next 28 days, including two back-to-back sets versus the Islanders and Red Wings. At some point, Lack will likely be called upon to provide some relief for the overworked Ward, but needless to say he has a long way to go to earn back the trust of his coach and will probably be used sparingly at best.

Lack made just 12 saves in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Lack was far from his best in dropping a game that saw his Hurricanes hold a 31-16 advantage in shots. He has started three of the past four games over Cam Ward, but is just 1-1-1 with seven goals allowed and a .905 save percentage over that span. Carolina's seller status heading into the Trade Deadline suggests there won't be many wins to be had for the team's goalies down the stretch.

Lack will start between the pipes in Wednesday's road game against the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Lack has struggled in limited action this season, posting a 2-4-1 record while registering an ugly 3.24 GAA and .883 save percentage over nine appearances. The 29-year-old netminder will look to get on track in a road matchup with a Lightning squad that's averaging 3.00 goals per game at home this season, 13th in the NHL.

Lack allowed three goals on 24 shots in a 3-1 defeat to the Flames on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Johnny Gaudreau beat Lack twice and that's really all Calgary needed in this one, as Carolina generated very little offense at even strength. Lack hasn't received much work this season, so he's probably not worth a fantasy roster spot, but the Hurricanes have scored so little lately, it's hard to trust whomever they have in net. Carolina is averaging 1.67 goals per game in February. Lack is 2-4-1 with a .883 save percentage and 3.24 GAA in eight appearances this season.

Lack will start between the pipes in Sunday's home game against the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Lack was unbeatable in his last start, turning aside all 34 shots he faced en route to an impressive 3-0 shutout victory over the Senators on Friday. The 29-year-old backstop will look to stay sharp in a matchup with a Flames team that's 17-12-4 on the road this season.

Lack turned aside all 34 shots he faced in Friday's 3-0 win against the Senators for his ninth career shutout.
EDGE Analysis
It was Lack's first win in four tries against Ottawa. Lack also secured his second victory in six starts this season, improving to 2-3-1. Despite the impressive effort he is unlikely to unseat Cam Ward as the starter anytime soon. For now he remains a streaming option in deeper seasonal pools allowing daily transactions and in DFS play.

Lack will tend the twine for Friday night's home game against the Senators, Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lack hasn't had ample opportunities to showcase his skills, as this will be just his second start since returning from an almost three-month absence. He got lit up in that first start against one of the league's most prolific offenses, but could have a better chance to get his first win since Oct. 20 against an Ottawa squad that ranks 18th in the NHL with 2.66 goals per game.
