Lack is expected to be in the crease for Friday's game against the Devils, Jason Botchford of the Vancouver Province reports. With Ryan Miller getting the nod Thursday against the Rangers and winning in unimpressive fashion in a shootout (he stopped 30 of 34 shots in the narrow victory), Lack should be on tap to make his 15th start of the season. While coach Willie Desjardins has stuck with Miller in each of the Canucks' last three back-to-back scenarios, it will be hard for him to justify following that plan again given how well Lack has played in February. Lack has won all three of his starts this month while posting a sterling .924 save percentage.

Lack got the job done Monday, allowing two goals on 20 shots in a 3-2 win over the visiting Wild. What a win for Lack and the Canucks, who took down a surging Wild squad to give the backup his sixth win in 18 appearances this year. Ryan Miller is still the man in Van City, but its conceivable that Lack could see more time between the pipes in the final two months of the season if Miller struggles, making Lack a potentially lucrative spot-start option in daily leagues.

Lack is scheduled to start Monday's game against the Wild.Lack is thus in line to make his 14th start of the season, with fellow netminder Ryan Miller having struggled before being pulled 27:59 into the game in the Canucks' 5-3 loss to the Wild last Monday.

Updating a previous report, Lack has been confirmed as the backup for Ryan Miller in Saturday's game against the Flames, Jim Jamieson of the Vancouver Province reports. It was generally expected that Lack would be in the crease due to his excellent career numbers against the Flames (3-1-0, 1.49 GAA, .940 save percentage), along with the fact that Miller started a day earlier, but coach Willie Desjardins decided to stick with his No. 1 netminder. The Canucks will have another back-to-back set scheduled for the following weekend, which will probably represent Lack's next opportunity to pick up a start.

Lack is expected to receive the start in goal Saturday against the Flames, Roger Millions of Sportsnet reports. The Canucks didn't hold a morning skate Saturday, but after Ryan Miller manned the net during Friday's win over the Bruins, it's likely he'll be rested a day a later in favor of Lack. It may make sense for coach Willie Desjardins to go with Lack for matchup reasons, too, as the backup netminder owns a 3-1-0 record, 1.49 GAA, and .940 save percentage for his career against the Flames.

Lack allowed four goals on 41 shots in Wednesday's 5-4 OT win over the Blackhawks.Lack played well for most of the game, but gave up three goals in the third period, including a Marian Hossa tally with under a minute left to send the game to overtime. He's only played 17 games on the season, but could see some more playing time with starter Ryan Miller having a very average season.

Lack will be in the crease for Wednesday's game against the Blackhawks, Dan Murphy of Sportsnet reports.Though he declined to name a starter for Wednesday's game following the Canucks' practice Tuesday, coach Willie Desjardins insinuated that Lack would get the call after he stopped all 14 shots in place of a struggling Ryan Miller in Monday's loss to the Wild. Miller has looked shaky since the All-Star break, creating a window for Lack to see the ice more frequently. While Miller's standing atop the Canucks' goalie depth chart doesn't seem to be at much risk, Lack could earn himself another nod Friday against the Bruins if he is able to stymie the powerful Blackhawks attack.

Lack stopped all 14 shots he faced in relief of a struggling Ryan Miller on Monday, but the Canucks still look a 5-3 loss to the Wild.Lack has allowed just two goals between Monday's relief appearance and his most recent start, February 3 against the Jets. That kind of production contrasts the recent performance of Miller, the team's starting netminder who has lost three of his past four starts. Still, Lack remains a stopgap option and can only be relied upon when Miller needs a rest or continues to struggle.

Lack stopped 26 of 28 in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime victory against the Jets.
The overtime was a short one, as Luca Sbisa's goal ended it just 36 seconds in. Lack's first start since Jan. 13 certainly went a lot better than that last one, and he's generally a solid fantasy choice whenever the Canucks rest Ryan Miller.

Lack has been confirmed as the starter in goal for Tuesday's game against the Jets, Elliott Pap of the Vancouver Sun reports.
With No. 1 goalie Ryan Miller faltering his last few times out, he'll be granted a day off while Lack takes the net for his first start in three weeks. Lack owns a 3-6-2 record and 2.61 GAA over 14 games, making him little more than a middle-of-the-road option in daily leagues against a respectable Jets squad.
