Lack is expected to start Tuesday's game against the Jets, the Vancouver Sun reports. Ryan Miller handled the last seven games, with Lack's most recent start coming Jan. 13. Lack owns respectable rate numbers this season, but poor offensive support has led to an ugly 3-6-2 record. Tuesday's opponent, Winnipeg, has lost four straight games by a combined score of 20-9.

Lack allowed five goals on 30 shots in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Predators. This represents Lack's second-worst outing of the year, trailing only his seven-goal disaster in Colorado -- though he actually had a higher save mark in that game than he did Tuesday. But no matter how you rank it, it's a poor outing for Lack, who'd been playing well in his recent (if rare) opportunities, having given up just four goals in his last three starts entering Tuesday's action.

Lack will be between the pipes for Tuesday's game against the Predators. It was reported Monday that Ryan Miller (illness) would return to action Tuesday, but that is apparently not the case. Lack has played well his last couple starts, and he will likely need another strong effort to come away with the victory Tuesday against Pekka Rinne and the surging Predators.

Lack stopped 22 of 23 shots in Saturday's loss to the Flames. This guy can't catch a break. Whenever Lack appears to have a good outing, the team in front of him can't get it done. The Canucks dominated the Flames Saturday, outshooting them 36-23, but couldn't get a goal past Joni Ortio. Lack is now 3-5-2 on the season with a .918 save percentage and 2.41 GAA. Don't be worried about his record, though, as Lack is one of the best backups in the NHL. Whenever Ryan Miller gets the night off, Lack always makes for a solid fantasy play.

Lack will start in goal Saturday against the Flames. Lack will be rewarded for his strong effort against the Isles earlier in the week with another start Saturday, which conveniently affords Ryan Miller another rest. The Flames are also sitting their starter, Jonas Hiller, meaning Lack will oppose Joni Ortio.

Lack stopped 21 of 23 shots to pick up a 3-2 victory over the Islanders on Tuesday. He looked sharp in his first outing since way back on Dec. 17, but it couldn't have hurt that John Tavares failed to put a shot on goal in this game. Lack's been quite reliable when called upon, but the Canucks require his services rarely with Ryan Miller occupying the net most nights.

Lack will be between the pipes for Tuesday's game against the Islanders. Lack will start for the first time since Dec. 17 as regular goaltender Ryan Miller gets the night off. He will square off against an Islanders team that lost its last time out but has won seven of 10 games entering Tuesday's contest.

Lack turned aside 28 of 29 shots but came away the loser as the Stars blanked the Canucks 2-0 on Wednesday. The second goal was an empty netter. Lack has been mediocre in relief of Ryan Miller this season, posting a 2-4-2 record with a 2.59 GAA and .916 GAA in 11 appearances. He was solid enough to deserve the win in this one, but the Stars' Kari Lehtonen's 27-save shutout thwarted all the Canucks' attempts at providing goal support for the Swede.

Lack will be in the crease Wednesday against the Stars, Jim Jamieson of the Vancouver Province reports. Coach Willie Desjardins said that the team had scheduled Lack for this turn all along, so his fantasy owners need not read too much into him getting the nod over Ryan Miller in a non-back-to-back scenario. Lack's numbers over 10 appearances this season are rather pedestrian (2.77 GAA, .911 save percentage), but the Stars have received even worse play from their goalies. It wouldn't be surprising if Wednesday's contest turned into a high-scoring affair.

Lack gave up four goals on 45 shots in Sunday's overtime loss to the Senators. It was a terrific outing from Lack, who stopped all 11 shots he faced in the first period, before giving up three straight goals during an onslaught in the second period. The 26-year-old is now 2-3-2 on the season with a .911 save percentage and 2.77 GAA. Considering No.1 goalie Ryan Miller has given up three or more goals in each of his last three games, Lack could get some more starts in the near-future. He's one of the best backups around.
