Lack stopped 34 of 37 shots Thursday in a 4-1 loss to Colorado. The last goal came into an empty net, which is only a small consolation to Lack owners. Nonetheless, it's not a bad outing for the second-year netminder, who's posted save marks of .919 (Thursday's result) or better in three consecutive starts and five of his last six.

Lack is slated to start Thursday's game against the Avs. Lack, who has won four of his last five starts, will look Thursday to help the Canucks earn four straight wins for the first time since they last accomplished the feat, between October 26 and November 1.

Lack stopped 26 of 28 shots Tuesday en route to a 5-2 victory over the Jets. This one was closer than it looked, as a couple last-minute empty-netters unbalanced the final outcome. Lack's now won four of his last five outings, and he's given up just five goals in those wins (although he gave up another five in the loss). The Canucks are fighting for prime playoff positioning, so Lack will likely see most of the starts going forward.

Lack is slated to start Tuesday's game against the Jets, the Province reports. Lack -- who has won three of his last four starts -- returns to the Vancouver net Tuesday after giving way to Jacob Markstrom in Sunday's win over the Coyotes. He'll face a Winnipeg squad that is currently on a five-game roll.

Lack came up big Saturday, knocking off the Kings by a score of 4-1 with a 25-save effort. The lone goal allowed by Lack -- courtesy of Marian Gaborik just 24 seconds into the second period -- actually opened the game's scoring before Vancouver exploded for four unanswered tallies. With Ryan Miller (knee) expected to be shelved for the rest of the season and third-stringer Jacob Markstrom lacking quality NHL experience, Lack is the man for now in Van City. He's allowed just a single goal in three of his last four starts as well, making him an above-average fantasy play between the pipes each time coach Willie Desjardins rolls him out there.

Lack will be in the crease for Saturday's game against the Kings. Lack has been generally dependable since taking over as the No. 1 goalie for the injured Ryan Miller (knee) in late February, but submitted one of his worst showings of the season Thursday against the Jackets, yielding five goals on 30 shots to take the loss. He's in no jeopardy of getting passed up by Jacob Markstrom on the depth chart, but Lack will likely be rested in favor of his understudy for the second game of the Canucks' weekend back-to-back set in Arizona on Sunday.

Lack gave up five goals on 30 shots and ended up being pulled with about 10 minutes remaining in the third period Thursday in a loss to the Jackets. After a scoreless first period, Lack was staked to a 2-0 lead early in the second, and then he went to work giving it back. The Jackets scored five unanswered goals on him in less than 22 minutes of game action before he got yanked for Jacob Markstrom with the game already well out of hand. Lack hadn't had an implosion like this since giving up five goals in consecutive games Feb. 26 and March 1 -- and had in fact given up only five goals, total, in his last three starts -- but his lack of consistency is maddening for fantasy owners. The latest news on Ryan Miller (knee) is that he might actually have a chance to return before the regular season ends, which would be a blessing for the Canucks, who have a somewhat tenuous hold on their playoff spot right now.

Lack will be between the pipes for Thursday's game against the Blue Jackets, Elliott Pap of the Vancouver Sun reports. It's the seventh straight start for Lack, who was afforded even more job security earlier in the week when Ryan Miller (knee) was ruled out for the remainder of the regular season. Over his 30 appearances this season, Lack has quietly developed into a middle-tier fantasy option, compiling a 12-9-3 record, 2.38 GAA, and .921 save percentage. He'll make for a solid option most nights, particularly against a non-playoff contending squad like the Blue Jackets, who will be playing their second game in as many nights.

Lack saved 27 of 28 shots Tuesday in a 4-1 win over Philadelphia. A very nice performance for Lack, albeit against a Flyers team that's in a late-season swoon. He's effectively bottom-fed on Toronto and Philadelphia in his last two starts, but also has recent wins against the Sharks and Ducks, giving him four victories in his last five outings -- and just eight goals allowed in that span.

Lack will be in the crease for Tuesday's game against the Flyers. Lack delivered his third win in four starts his last time out Saturday against the Maple Leafs while stopping 28 of 29 pucks. The netminder has compiled a sturdy 2.43 GAA and .920 save percentage, putting him 20th and 15th in the league, respectively, among qualifiers. The Flyers showed some signs of life by tallying seven goals in a game over the weekend, but Lack should be a reliable fantasy choice on his home ice.
