David Booth scored a goal in Vancouver's 2-1 shootout victory Monday night. Ryan Kesler and Aaron Rome each registered an assist on Booth's 10th goal of the season. Kesler also netted the deciding goal in the shootout.

David Booth played in pain and with very little rest Saturday night against the Avalanche. He had a flare up of neck and upper back spasms Friday night and hardly slept. Booth was also in considerable pain Saturday but suited up anyway and logged 17:34 of ice time and registered an assist. Now that's a gutsy performance!

David Booth will not be looking for retribution when he faces Kevin Porter of the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday. Porter put Booth out for six weeks on December 6 with a knee-on-knee hit. "I really haven't though about it much," Booth said Friday. "I've been forgetting about it and coming to the rink every day just being glad to be on the ice. I mean, I don't think he was trying to put me out, I think he was trying to break up the play." We shall see if any of Booth's teammates feel the same way.

David Booth keeps finding the net after returning from a month-long knee injury. After going scoreless in his first contest back, Booth now has a goal in three consecutive games and also had a helper. It's still a small sample size of games, but it could be a sign that he might return somewhere close to the 31-goal season he produced in 2008-09.

David Booth produced a tally for the first time since a knee-to-knee injury sidelined him for about a month. This was the winger's second game back from the injury, so that's a promising sign. Playing with the Vancouver Canucks gives Booth a great opportunity to approach the pace that made him a breakout player in 2008-09.

Vancouver Canucks winger David Booth played almost 16 minutes (15:50 to be exact) in his return from injury. Booth wasn't able to score and registered a -1 rating, but at least he got in a solid amount of ice time.

As anticipated, the word is that David Booth will make his return on Sunday. The Vancouver Canucks winger has been dealing with a knee injury suffered in early December thanks to a suspension-worthy hit by Colorado Avalanche center Kevin Porter.

David Booth (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against Anaheim. He looked good in practice Saturday and according to coach Alain Vigneault should be good to go. If Booth does suit up for the first time since he sprained a knee on December 6th, he will skate on the second line alongside Ryan Kesler allowing Cody Hodgson to return to center on the third unit and sending Mike Duco to the press box.

The Vancouver Canucks are still waiting for David Booth (knee) to give himself the green light to return to the lineup. Booth has been skating with the Canucks for a week since getting medical clearance to play again. "It's frustrating sometimes because I do want to play and want to get back in there," he said. "And I know it's going to take some games to feel comfortable because when you're out for a month in the middle of the season when everyone is playing their best hockey, it's frustrating. I just want to make sure I'm comfortable going out there and not going to be compensating. It's healing, but it's still sore. That's what I've got to be careful of." He will participate in Thursday's morning skate and then decide if he is able to play.

Great news for the Vancouver Canucks: winger David Booth has been given medical clearance to play despite his injured knee. It must be noted that it's now up to Booth to decide when he's ready to play again. Perhaps he'll need a practice or two to determine if that time will come soon. Booth has 13 points in 25 games but seemed like he was picking up steam right as that dreadful knee-to-knee hit happened.
