David Booth (knee) took part in Friday's practice. Booth recently had a CT scan and while we don't know the results, we'll take this as a sign that it was good news. Booth hasn't played since December 6th.

David Booth (knee) has rejoined the Vancouver Canucks and is practicing but doubtful for Saturday and Monday's games against Boston and Florida respectively. Booth really wants to play against his former Panther teammates but it is looking like he will not be cleared to go. "I am feeling better every day, that's why I am going on the road trip," Booth said. "As the road trip progresses hopefully I get closer and closer to playing. This trip was probably the one I looked forward to the most all year . I had a lot of good years there (in Florida), so it will be a good experience." Booth was scheduled to have a CT scan before he left Vancouver earlier in the week but no results have been forthcoming.

David Booth (knee) could return to the Vancouver lineup in the next few weeks. Booth suffered the injury when he collided knee-on-knee with the Avs Kevin Porter who received four games for the incident. Booth should be back skating in a week and a return to the lineup should be shortly thereafter.

David Booth will miss the next four-to-six weeks because of a MCL sprain. Booth has five goals and 12 points in 19 games since being acquired by Vancouver. He got off to a slow start with his new team, but had three goals and five points in four contests prior going into Tuesday's game. He was knocked out of that contest after logging just 4:05 minutes. We'll keep you posted.

David Booth will undergo an MRI on his knee after leaving Tuesday's game due to the injury. Booth was the victim of a knee-on-knee hit. The timing is particularly unfortunate as Booth had a goal and three points in Sunday's contest. We'll keep you posted.

David Booth needed help leaving the ice after Kevin Porter collided with his knee. It appears that Booth hurt his right knee on the play. It's too early to know the severity of the injury, although he couldn't get off the ice on his own. Vancouver's All-American line might be in shambles as Christopher Higgins (foot) and Booth look banged up.

After a slow start, David Booth has been hot for the Vancouver Canucks. The left winger seems to be finding his form and not just because he tallied three points against Calgary on Sunday. Booth has 15 shots on goal in his past three games, his highest total over a three-game span since early March. He has 10 points in his past 12 games and is fitting nicely on a line with Chris Higgins, who has six points in his past four games, and Ryan Kesler, who has nine points in his last seven games. Booth won't have Higgins on his line tonight as Higgins is out with a foot injury.

David Booth scored a goal and added two assists in the Canucks' 5-1 win over Calgary Sunday. Booth started slowly after being acquired by the Canucks, but he has now picked up the pace with 12 points in contests. Linemate Christopher Higgins also enjoyed a great game with a goal and two assists of his own while Daniel Sedin, Jannik Hansen and Kevin Bieksa all scored goals in the victory.

David Booth, 27, has played 12 games with the Vancouver Canucks since being acquired in a trade with the Florida Panthers but he has not been able to contribute much. "I think he's trying to find his way with this new group," coach Alain Vigneault said. "It's going to take some time.I think you can tell on the ice in certain situations, with and without the puck, he's not overly . I'd rather use the word 'comfortable' than 'confident.'" Booth is on pace to score 13 goals in 2011-12. "Every day when I come to the rink, I'm just working on things to make me better," Booth said. "It's a process. It's easy to get frustrated, but you can't worry about the externals. It's something I have to learn here.

David Booth stayed out late after practice Wednesday and concentrated on shooting drills. The second-liner is trying to mesh with Ryan Kesler and Cody Hodgson and the left winger has just two assists in four games after being acquired from the Florida Panthers. "With David, our issue with him is going to be to hold him back a bit," said coach Alain Vigneault. "He's such a workhorse and puts in a lot of time on and off the ice. I'm real confident because of all the time he's putting in. We saw some real good moments from that line last night [Tuesday] and that is only going to get better."
