Anderson was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate and will receive the starting nod Thursday against the Oilers, Don Brennan of the Ottawa Sun reports.
Despite a rough showing during an overtime loss to the Canucks on Tuesday, Anderson will earn his fifth starting nod in six games. Tuesday's effort looks to be only a minor blip for Anderson, as it was just the second time he's posted a sub-.900 save percentage in his nine starts this season.

Anderson gave up four goals on 37 shots Tuesday in an overtime loss to Vancouver.
That's two overtime losses in a row for Anderson, though he was better in the one against Winnipeg on Saturday. Still, this is just the second time all year that Anderson's posted a save percentage under .900.

Anderson will be between the pipes Tuesday against the Canucks.
After Robin Lehner was trounced for five goals Sunday against Toronto, Anderson looks like he'll be the Senators' go-to option in the net for the foreseeable future, and for good reason. He's posted a .951 save percentage and 1.72 GAA over eight outings this season, both of which rank in the top five among all goalies.

Anderson turned away 36 of 37 shots but fell in a shootout to the Jets on Saturday.
Though Anderson wasn't able to extend his winning streak to three games Saturday, he can hold his head up high after another astounding showing in defeat. The goalie has surrendered just two goals over his last three starts, supplying a superb .980 save percentage during that time.

Anderson has been confirmed as the Sens' starting goalie for their tilt Saturday with Winnipeg, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
Anderson has dominated the Jets throughout his career, going 11-2-2 with a 2.51 GAA and .932 save percentage in 16 games. In light of his career success and home-ice advantage, look for Anderson to enter Saturday's contest as the favorite to come away with the victory.

Anderson is expected to start in goal Saturday against the Jets, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
Anderson is doing his best to demonstrate that his breakout performance during the 2012-13 lockout-shortened season wasn't a fluke, as he's currently sitting on a 1.84 GAA and .948 save percentage over seven outings. Backup Robin Lehner has performed similarly well this season to remain a factor in the goalie timeshare, but Anderson seems to be coach Paul MacLean's preferred option. He's allowed just one goal combined over his last two games against quality opponents in the Wild and Red Wings, making him an excellent fantasy option against the Jets at home.

Anderson stopped all 35 shots the Wild threw his way Thursday to bring home a 3-0 victory.
Don't look now, but Anderson's quietly been one of the NHL's best goalies in the early going. He's posted save marks of .919 or better in five of his seven starts this season, and he's got a pair of shutouts already -- halfway to last year's total already. Sure, the Wild were without Zach Parise, but it all counts the same on Anderson's stat line.

Anderson is in line to start Thursday's game against the Wild, according to Wayne Scanlan of The Ottawa Citizen.
Anderson was the first goalie off the ice following Thursday's morning skate, which puts him on track to be in the crease Thursday night. He will take on a Minnesota squad that is fourth in the NHL in goals per game but will be playing without top point scorer Zach Parise (upper body) on Thursday.

Anderson captured the victory in Tuesday's start against the Red Wings, holding the opposition to one goal on 32 shots.
Anderson kept Detroit off the board for the first two periods before his shutout bid was foiled with 17:26 remaining in the game. The netminder clamped down after that, making an especially impressive save on Tomas Jurco to deny a potential game-winner after teammate Erik Karlsson turned over the puck. After a disappointing 2013-14 campaign, Anderson has turned the corner to start the new season, owning a shiny 2.15 GAA and .939 save percentage over his six outings.

Anderson will start in net Tuesday against the Red Wings, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
Anderson has dropped his last two starts, but continues to split time with Robin Lehner as the team's starter. Anderson has played well, but will this year, and will need to continue to play well since the Sens are giving up the most shots per game in the league.
