Anderson will make the start in the crease Friday against the Ducks, Wayne Scanlan of the Ottawa Citizen reports. Anderson came through with a much-needed shutout Wednesday against the Devils, which followed a three-game stretch where he surrendered 10 goals. While his hold on the No. 1 job remains tenuous, Anderson can carry some value when the matchup favors him. It doesn't appear that will be the case Friday against a superior Ducks squad.

Anderson recorded a 34 save shutout in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Devils. The Senators only mustered 16 total shots on the night, but Anderson was spectacular in their own end, backstopping the team to victory. He's still considered the starter in Ottawa, but backup Robin Lehner is always a threat to take over the gig if Anderson starts to falter.

Anderson will be in goal for Wednesday's game against the Devils. Anderson has struggled mightily of late giving up fewer than three goals just once in his last 10 starts and winning just twice over that span. He will face a New Jersey squad that has similarly struggled of late, winning just three times since Nov. 14.

Anderson was touched up for four goals on 35 shots in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Kings. Although he still owns strong rate stats for the season, Anderon has now taken a painful seven losses (six of them in regulation) over his last eight starts, and he's only allowed fewer than three goals one time in his last 10 starts. Although the Ottawa offense and defense have largely been more to blame than Anderson this year, look for the Sens to try to change the formula by giving Robin Lehner (who was just activated from IR) another shot soon -- perhaps Saturday in Boston.

Anderson will be in the net Thursday against the Kings, Ian Mendes of TSN 1200 reports. Though the Senators now have Robin Lehner (knee) back from injured reserve, interim coach Dave Cameron will give Anderson another spin. While he's been forced to take on an increased workload of late while Lehner was unavailable, Anderson has at least provided the Senators will passable -- if unspectacular -- results. He's surrendered exactly three goals in four of his last five turns.

Anderson finally won a game Sunday, stopping 30 of 33 shots in a victory over Vancouver. A much needed win for Anderson, who had lost six straight games. The 33-year-old is now 6-7-4 on the season with a .927 save percentage and 2.50 GAA. With Robin Lehner (undisclosed) nearing a return, Anderson may lose some playing time in the near-future. Anderson remains an elite fantasy option, but wins are hard to come on a Senators team sitting 10th in the Eastern Conference.

Anderson stopped 30-of-33 shots in Saturday's loss to the Penguins. Anderson has now taken defeats in his last six turns, dropping him to 5-7-4 for the season. He hasn't been terrible during that span with save percentages above .900 in four of those six outings, but it will be difficult to roll him with much confidence until the Senators provide him with some more offensive support.

Though he lost his fifth straight game Thursday versus the Islanders, Anderson turned in a decent effort, stopping 23 of 25 shots.

Anderson gave up two goals on 25 shots in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Islanders. He matched Jaroslav Halak evenly through most of the game, but gave up a goal to Casey Cizikas with just 6:27 left in the third period, which was enough to sink the Senators. That's five consecutive losses for Anderson now -- four of them in regulation.
