Depending on who Ottawa is facing, he usually makes for a safe -- but not great -- start on a Senators team that currently sits six points out of a playoff spot.

Anderson will start in net against the Capitals on Monday, Don Brennan of the Ottawa Sun reports. Anderson earned his eighth win of the season Friday after stopping 32 of the 34 shots he faced. He now has a 2.43 GAA and .930 save percentage on the season, and will look to boost his numbers heading into a three-game holiday break.
