Anderson will be between the pipes Thursday against the Islanders, Wayne Scanlan of the Ottawa Citizen reports. With Robin Lehner nursing an injury and apparently unavailable, the Senators will have no choice but to hand the start to Anderson, who has dropped four straight. He still owns a sparkling .930 save percentage, but his defense is still forcing him to handle far too many shots most nights.

Anderson took his fourth consecutive loss Tuesday against the Islanders, giving up three goals on 28 shots to take a 3-2 overtime defeat. Anderson had a solid stat line going before Thomas Hickey's goal 3:06 into overtime ended things, so that's a positive takeaway. However, he's given up either three or four goals in six consecutive starts now, and he's won only once in that span.

Anderson will be in the net Tuesday against the Islanders, Dean Brown of Rogers Sportsnet reports. Anderson has been given up at least three goals in five straight starts, but his defense hasn't exactly done him many favors. He's faced an average of 37.5 shots per game during that span, and while it's helped him increase his raw save totals, his ratios have taken a hit as a result. Things might not get better for him against an Islanders squad that is averaging 33 shots per contest, good for third in the league.

Anderson was outstanding Friday, stopping 43 of 46 shots but took the loss as the Sens fell 3-2 to the Panthers. It was a tough pill to swallow for Anderson, who now has just a single win in his last six appearances. Despite the solid outing, expect the Sens to turn to backup Robin Lehner for the second of back-to-back games Saturday against the Lightning.

Anderson will be in the crease Friday against the Panthers. Anderson has watched Robin Lehner assume the bulk of the starting duties for the Senators over the last couple of weeks, and didn't do much to help his cause by allowing four goals to the Red Wings in his last time out Monday. Perhaps receiving the starting nod against his former squad -- and an offensively-challenged one, at that -- will be exactly what he needs to win back the Ottawa net.

Anderson stopped 39 of 43 shots but it wasn't enough as the Sens fell 4-3 to the Red Wings on Monday. Anderson gave it a valiant effort in trying to steal a win for the Sens, but their comeback bid was spoiled with a last-second glove save by Wings goalie Jimmy Howard. Anderson has now, rather ridiculously, faced 30 or more shots in 11 of 12 starts this year, posting a very respectable .932 save percentage along the way. The amount of rubber coming his way, coupled with the fact that Ottawa sometimes has a hard time producing offensively, has amounted to a mediocre 5-4-3 record for Anderson thus far.

Anderson will start in net Monday against the Red Wings. Robin Lehner got the call in the last two games for the Sens, but Anderson will get a chance to reclaim his crease Monday. Anderson is 5-3-3 on the season with a .935 save percentage and a 2.23 GAA.

Anderson allowed four goals on 25 shots in Saturday's loss to the Flames. Not a good night for Anderson, who has now dropped three of his last four games. The 33-year-old is now 5-3-2 on the season with an impressive .935 save percentage and 2.23 GAA. Although he had an off night Saturday, he has been terrific this season, meaning we can expect Anderson to continuously see the majority of starts in the Sens' crease. He needs to be in your lineup whenever he is playing.

Anderson will start between the pipes against the Flames on Saturday. Saturday's start will be Anderson's third straight, winning his last in overtime against the Oilers on Thursday. He will ride a 5-2-3 record, 2.05 GAA and .942 save percentage into Saturday's matchup.

Anderson blew a 3-1 lead in the third period Thursday, but ended up holding on for a 4-3 overtime win over the Oilers. The third consecutive overtime game for Anderson, this one had a happier ending than the prior two. He continues to post strong rate stats, making him a strong fantasy roll whenever the Sens put him between the pipes.
