Anderson will start in net for the Senators on Wednesday, Wayne Scanlan of the Ottawa Citizen reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson got his first rest of the season against the Canadiens on Sunday, but he'll return to goal Wedesday to start three of the first four contests. While he appears to be the top netminder for the Senators, Andrew Hammond will probably receive more starts than many other backups around the league.

Anderson made 37 saves on 41 shots in Ottawa's shootout win in Toronto on Saturday night. Anderson and the Senators are now 2-0 on the season.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson looked he was on track for a shut-out stopping almost 20 shots on goal before Toronto managed to score. Anderson and the Senators buckled down to keep the score tied at 3-3 in to overtime. The Senators took a penalty and Anderson stone walled the Leafs on their four on three powerplay. Anderson is proving once again that he is true number one goalie in the league.

Anderson will get the start in net Saturday against the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was great in Thursday's season opener against the Sabres, turning away 26 of the 27 shots he faced en route to a 3-1 victory. With Andrew Hammond currently dealing with a groin injury, Anderson has an opportunity to state his case for Ottawa's No. 1 goaltender job in the early goings of the season.

Anderson made 26 saves on 27 shots during Thursday's Opening Night victory in Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson carried a shutout more than 49 minutes into the game until Jack Eichel scored his first career goal on a third-period power play. With Andrew Hammond (groin) hurting, the veteran has a great opportunity to put his stamp on the Ottawa nets in the early going. Despite Hammond's great run last year, Anderson did finish with a sparkling .923 save percentage, so he shouldn't be underrated.

Anderson will start between the pipes for Thursday night's opener against the Sabres, Dan Seguin of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson remains in competition with Andrew Hammond for starts in net, but with Hammond still suffering from a groin issue, he'll receive the call Wednesday. Hammond is expected to be out approximately another week, so expect Anderson to start most of the contests while he's out.

Anderson allowed just two goals on 42 shots Thursday in a 5-2 win over the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
Andrew Hammond was supposed to appear between the pipes instead of Anderson, but a groin injury to Hammond changed the plans. The two puck stoppers are locked into a close competition for the No. 1 spot in goal tho season and it's looking like a clear winner will not be decided before the Sens' exhibition slate ends this Saturday. While Anderson is the one with 12 years of experience, it's Hammond who went 20-1-2 with the Senators last season. This could continue to be a muddy situation until we draw closer to the regular season.

Anderson will start in goal Thursday night against the Canadiens, Ian Mendes of TSN1200 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was not the originally scheduled starter, but he will be out there in the wake of a sudden groin injury to Andrew Hammond. While it's unclear at this point how severe we should consider Hammond's injury to be, this is a great chance for Anderson to prove that the No. 1 goalie job belongs to him. Anderson is a capable backstop fresh off a season in which he compiled a sturdy 2.49 GAA and .923 save percentage, but Hammond is the young talent that helped the Sens to 20 wins in 24 starts last year. Keep an eye on the situation and see if Anderson can gain any separation in the goalie battle ahead of the new season.

Anderson stopped 18 of 19 shots Sunday but was on the wrong end of the series-ending Game 6 loss. Anderson did all he could to keep the Sens' season alive after receiving the starting nod since Game 3 as he allowed just four total goals in those four games, but the offense in front of him couldn't provide any support Sunday. The 33-year-old finished the season at 14-13-8 with a 2.49 GAA and .923, but it remains to be seen how the club will approach their goaltending next season between Anderson and the soon-to-be restricted free agent Andrew Hammond.

Anderson will start between the pipes for Sunday's Game 6 matchup with the Canadiens, the Ottawa Sun reports. Anderson has been spectacular in net for the Senators over the last three contests, posting save percentages above .950 in each of the contests. The Senators will ride the hot hand in net into Game 6 as they look to force a Game 7.

Anderson was sensational Friday, shopping 45 of 46 shots in a Game 5 win over Montreal. Anderson has been unstoppable since starting Game 3, turning away 120 of 123 shots to help the Senators claw their way back into the series. Now trailing the Canadiens 3-2 in the first round, Anderson will need to come up big once again in Game 6 Sunday if Ottawa hopes to see another day. With Anderson's gushing confidence and spectacular play, it's possible Ottawa could complete a reverse sweep. It was Andrew Hammond's net before, but it's Anderson's goal crease now.
