Craig Anderson turned aside all 42 shots he faced in a 2-0 blanking of Buffalo Tuesday night. The shutout was his second of the campaign. Anderson elevated his record to 7-2-2 on the year. He leads the league with a .956 save percentage and a 1.36 goals-against average. Needless to say, but start him with confidence.

Craig Anderson got the day off at practice Friday and might not start Saturday. Anderson is 1-2-1 in his last four starts, but still has some stellar peripheral numbers (.950 save percentage, 1.49 GAA). He's the unquestioned top dog in Ottawa's net, but if he can't start tomorrow it'll be Ben Bishop's turn. We should know more after Saturday's morning skate.

Craig Anderson surrendered three goals on 26 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss to Carolina. The Ottawa goaltender has one win his last four appearances (1-2-1), which has dropped his record to 6-2-2 on the year. Despite a bit of an off night, Anderson still owns the second best save percentage (.950) and goals-against average (1.49) in the league this season.

Craig Anderson stopped 20 of 23 shots for the Senators in a 4-3 win over Buffalo Tuesday night. While not terrible, this amounts to the worst game of the season for the Ottawa net minder whose record now rises to 6-2-1. Those of you who trusted Anderson to repeat last year's performance and gambled on his on draft day have been rewarded this far.

The Ottawa Senators will go with Craig Anderson against the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday. That's a no-brainer. Anderson hasn't allowed more than two goals in a game this season. As long as he stays that hot, the Senators won't have much motivation to use Ben Bishop.

Craig Anderson has lost two straight games, but he can hardly be blamed for it. Anderson has allowed no more than two goals in any of his eight starts this season. He'll slow down eventually, but as it is, he's firmly established himself as Ottawa's number one goaltender after some ambiguity going into the season.

One can hardly pin Sunday's loss on Craig Anderson, as the Montreal Canadiens topped the Ottawa Senators 2-1. Anderson stopped 30 out of 32 shots. He's allowed only six goals in his last four games, yet he's lost two in a row. His overall record is still quite nice (5-2-1), yet it doesn't fully reflect his brilliant .964 save percentage and 1.12 GAA.

Craig Anderson will get the start in Montreal against Carey Price and the Canadiens on Sunday. Anderson has been one of the best goaltenders in the league so far this season. The Ottawa goaltender boasts a minuscule 0.99 GAA to go along with a .968 save percentage and a 5-1-1 record. Anderson is a good sell high canditate at the moment to a desperate owner who has goaltender issues. Goalies to target in a deal would be Henrik Lundqvist, Pekka Rinne or Jonathan Quick.

Craig Anderson made 34 saves in Ottawa's 1-0 loss to the Hurricanes on Friday night. Anderson continues to be one of the biggest surprises early this season. He's given up seven goals in seven games. Keep rolling him out there.
