Brent Seabrook (upper body) is still traveling with the team as they head to Pittsburgh for Tuesday's contest. Seabrook was pushed face-first into the boards by Calgary's Rene Bourque on Sunday. He left the game and the obvious concern was that he might have a concussion. We still don't know the full extent of Seabrook's injuries, but the fact that he's traveling with the team is a very good sign.

Brent Seabrook left Sunday's game after being hit into the boards from behind by Calgary's Rene Bourque. The head appeared to be the principal point of contact, so the obvious concern is that Seabrook might have a concussion. "He seemed not bad after the game; it was more precautionary," said Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville. "We'll find out more [Monday], but he seemed all right." That's good news, although we're seen players that were initially pulled for 'precautionary' reasons end up being diagnosed with a concussion. Barely a week ago, Flyers GM Paul Holmgren used the word precautionary to describe their actions towards Claude Giroux, who was later sidelined indefinitely with a concussion. That's not to say that the Seabrook situation will follow the exact same path, but we do recommend that you don't dismiss any possibility until it's been ruled out.

Brent Seabrook will play in his 500th NHL game Sunday night against San Jose. After a rough start to the season, the 26-year-old rearguard has been rock solid the past few weeks. We expect Seabrook to register approximately 40 points by the time the campaign draws to a close.

Brent Seabrook and Dave Bolland had Monday off from practice for maintenance days. Both players have had injuries of late so the day off won't hurt. Seabrook and Bolland should be in the Chicago lineup on Tuesday when they take on Phoenix.

Brent Seabrook was a plus-two on Friday as he played his first game in five after returning from a left leg injury. Seabrook had three hits and a blocked shot as well in the Blackhawks 6-5 victory over the slumping Anaheim Ducks. "He battled, competed and gave us important minutes as well," coach Joel Quenneville said. "He's a big part of the team and the leadership group as well." Feel free to put Seabrook back in your fantasy lineup.

Brent Seabrook (lower body) didn't end up playing in Wednesday's game against San Jose. Seabrook was considered a game-time decision and ultimately missed his fourth straight contest. He has a goal and seven points in 18 games this season and should still be considered day-to-day.
