Brent Seabrook left Sunday's game after being hit into the boards from behind by Calgary's Rene Bourque. The head appeared to be the principal point of contact, so the obvious concern is that Seabrook might have a concussion. "He seemed not bad after the game; it was more precautionary," said Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville. "We'll find out more [Monday], but he seemed all right." That's good news, although we're seen players that were initially pulled for 'precautionary' reasons end up being diagnosed with a concussion. Barely a week ago, Flyers GM Paul Holmgren used the word precautionary to describe their actions towards Claude Giroux, who was later sidelined indefinitely with a concussion. That's not to say that the Seabrook situation will follow the exact same path, but we do recommend that you don't dismiss any possibility until it's been ruled out.
