Somehow he saw me and made a great pass. He didn't look at me once and I didn't yell. He's pretty good in those situations so I just let him do his thing. I don't think I shot the puck, it was such a hard pass it hit my stick and just bounced in."

Seabrook won't maintain that rate of blocked shots, but he will probably end up averaging about two per game. He's been more than willing to use his body to stop shots during his NHL career, which makes it all the more remarkable that he's played in at least 78 games in each of his previous six seasons.
