Sutter (jaw) skated Thursday, Irfaan Gaffar of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter isn't expected to return until late March, when the regular-season schedule for the Canucks will have less than 10 games to be played. Still, with Vancouver having the slimmest of chances to end up in the postseason, there's no reason to rush him back.

Sutter (jaw) is expected to miss between six and eight weeks following successful surgery on his jaw.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter's impact has been minimal (nine points in 20 games) this season due to injury, and the newest issue could wind up costing him the remainder of the regular season if it's closer to eight weeks than six. The Canucks had been used to playing without him, but his absence will likely result in more lineup appearances for Adam Cracknell and the newly-recalled Alex Friesen.

Sutter will return to Vancouver, and is expected to miss time due to a broken jaw, Bob McKenzie of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The news essentially rules Sutter out for the indefinite future, and more will likely become known following further evaluation when he returns to Vancouver. It's an unfortunate turn for him, but this one hopefully won't cost him as long as the two-plus months he missed earlier in the season due to an abdomen injury. Expect another update on him when he gets an official timetable.

Sutter netted a goal against Nashville in his first game back from an abdominal injury Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
He'd been out since Nov. 10, but with Henrik Sedin (undisclosed) currently unavailable, Sutter is for all intents and purposes Vancouver's top center for the moment; it was Daniel Sedin who got the primary helper on his goal. Tuesday's contest was just the 17th outing for the 27-year-old in his first season with the Canucks, but he's been reasonably effective when healthy, tallying five goals and four helpers on the year.

Sutter (abdomen) will suit up for the Canucks on Tuesday, Brad Ziemer of the Vancouver Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter will be back in the lineup for the first time since mid-November. It has been a tough first season in Vancouver for the 27-year-old, who played in just 16 contests this year, tallying eight points in those outings. The center's return will hopefully inspire a Vancouver team averaging only 2.39 goals per game.

Sutter (abdomen) is expected to rejoin his teammates in Tuesday's lineup against the Predators, Ben Kuzma of the Vancouver Province reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter's last game action came in November, but it appears that will be refreshed for the first time in a long time Tuesday when the Canucks take the ice for warmups. The team sent Mike Zalewski to AHL Utica on Monday in what's presumably the corresponding move, but it should become official when the team activates him ahead of the contest.

Sutter (abdomen) is expected to return at some point during the upcoming six-game road trip.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter can essentially be ruled out for Monday, and it sounds as though his timetable remains a little further out than teammate Luca Sbisa, so Thursday seems a bit unrealistic as well. The 26-year-old forward indicated that he hopes to be back before the All-Star break, so the team should continue to provide further updates when he's expected to draw back in.

Sutter (abdomen) practiced with the team Sunday and will travel on the upcoming road trip.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter has been sidelined since November with the abdominal injury, but appears to finally be nearing a return to the lineup. While he hasn't been ruled out Monday, it doesn't seem as though he's in line to return at this point. However, the team should provide an update at some point before Monday's opening face-off confirming his status one way or the other.

Sutter (abdomen) could rejoin the Canucks in the second week of January, John Abbott of TSN 1040 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter underwent surgery in early December, with an expected timetable of four-to-six weeks attached to it. It appears his return will slot right in the middle of that frame, but more should become available when he gets closer to that date.

Sutter (abdomen) underwent surgery and will be out for four-to-six weeks.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter has been out since November 12 and had been trying to avoid surgery. This is a big loss for Vancouver, as prior to his injury, Sutter was scoring at a 41-point pace and logging around 19 minutes of ice time per game playing as the Canucks' second-line center. Expect youngster Jared McCann to continue in an expanded role throughout Sutter's absence.
