Sutter picked up a helper in Tuesday's win over the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
It was just the second assist in the last eight games for Sutter, who isn't relied on as a significant offensive contributor. The fourth-line center sees plenty of ice time at even-strength and on the penalty kill, but his lack of power-play time makes him an unappealing fantasy option. Sutter can chip in with the occasional tally, but they won't come often enough for him to be trusted in anything but the deepest of leagues.

Sutter (illness) confirmed he will play Tuesday night's game in Ottawa, Jeff Patterson of TSN 1040 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter's illness was apparently nothing serious and he will return to the Canucks' ranks having missed only one practice and no game action. The 28-year-old netted a goal on Opening Night against Edmonton, but has been relatively quiet since then, notching six shots on goal total while averaging 16:22 of ice time.

Sutter missed practice Monday due to illness.
EDGE Analysis
Considering Loui Eriksson (knee) didn't travel with the team -- combined with Sutter being under the weather -- it shouldn't come as a shock the club is going to promote a player from the minors. The odds on favorites are likely Reid Boucher or Nikolay Goldobin, although Michael Chaput may be better suited to replace Sutter down the middle if the 28-year-old is unable to play.

Sutter was excellent in the season opener Saturday against Edmonton, netting his first goal of the year and firing three shots on goal.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter was very much put in a defensive role against the Oilers, as he centered the fourth line, logged 2:33 of shorthanded time and went 64 percent on faceoffs. His transition to a bottom-six forward hurts his fantasy value, but he'll always have some offensive upside that makes him worth owning in deeper formats. Sutter is more valuable to the Canucks than he is to fantasy owners, but he possesses a lethal shot that makes him a solid contributing scorer.

Sutter centered the fourth line at practice this morning, according to TSN 1040's Jeff Patterson.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter was in a fourth-line shutdown role against superstar forward Connor McDavid in Vancouver's pre-season finale Saturday and that looks like where things may be headed this season. Coach Travis Green has matched Sutter up against top lines throughout training camp and his new defensive role could take the pressure off Bo Horvat to function in that capacity. Sutter has a fantastic shot and netted 17 goals last season, but his fantasy value could take a hit this year. The potential of skating alongside players such as Markus Granlund, Brock Boeser, Sam Gagner and Jake Virtanen is promising, but if he's expected to shut down opposing teams' top players, his offensive numbers will likely take a hit.

Sutter scored twice in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win over Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter's second goal made it 4-1 and chased netminder Corey Crawford 2:15 into the third, but a furious rally by the hosts almost made it all for naught. While his 17 goals have Sutter just three shy of Bo Horvat for the team lead, he had gone 13 games without one prior to this breakout performance.

Sutter (undisclosed) will rejoin the lineup for Thursday's game against the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter is expected to skate alongside Loui Eriksson and Jayson Megna Thursday evening in what generally results to a cycling of the top three lines. He should also return to the man advantage, looking to break a streak of four straight games without a point.

Sutter (undisclosed) will be a game-time call for Thursday's matchup with St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter participated in Thursday's morning skate after sitting out the loss to Pittsburgh on Tuesday. After skating, Sutter seemed optimistic about his chances to play, but ultimately conceded that the decision will be up to the team. Sutter is scoring at a 20-goal rate and has been one of the few sources of offense for Vancouver this season.

Sutter (undisclosed) will not suit up for Tuesday night's game in Pittsburgh, Dan Murphy of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter misses his first game of the season and, with it, another opportunity to play his former team. According to Murphy, the Canucks will dress seven defensemen against the Penguins, meaning that Alex Biega is slated to draw into the lineup for the first time since Jan. 25.

Sutter is dealing with an undisclosed injury and is questionable for Tuesday's matchup with Pittsburgh, Jon Abbott of TSN 1040 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sutter has yet to play against his former team since being traded ahead of the 2015-16 campaign. The 28-year-old is currently stuck in a four-game point drought, but would certainly be motivated to make an impact if he suits up. If the center can't give it a go, the team will need to either recall a player from AHL Utica or play with seven defensemen and 11 forwards as Bo Horvat (leg) has already been ruled out. Vancouver should provide an update prior to puck-drop on SUtter's availability.
