Steen factored into the scoring Saturday, as the Blues prevailed over the Wild to move on to the conference semifinals.
EDGE Analysis
Steen went top shelf in the first period to give St. Louis a 2-0 lead. He's a dependable forward, closing out the opening series with two goals, two assists and a plus-2 rating. The Predators are up next for the Blues -- Steen's scored 13 goals with 14 assists against them in 42 career regular-season contests.

Steen assisted on all four goals in a 4-1 win Monday over the visiting Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Steen snapped a four-game point drought in style in this one, setting up each and every one of the Blues' goals at even strength for a plus-4 rating. He's now one point off cracking the 50-point plateau for the fourth straight season, but it's worth noting his 104 shots on goal have him on pace for his lowest in a full campaign since 2008-09 with Toronto.

Steen moved to top scoring line during Tuesday's game against the Avalanche, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Steen moved up to fill the void left by Paul Stastny, who suffered a lower-body injury. If Stastny is forced to miss game time it would be a nice assignment for Steen on the top unit working with the dynamic Vladimir Tarasenko and Jaden Schwartz.

Steen had a goal and an assist in Monday's 3-1 win over Los Angeles.
EDGE Analysis
Steen had been slumbering through his least productive stretch of the season -- an eight-game run with just one point -- but has come alive in the last two games. After posting a goal and an assist in Saturday's win over the Islanders, Steen repeated that feat Monday against the Kings. Despite the recent slump, Steen is second on the team in scoring behind linemate Vladimir Tarasenko.

Steen scored an unassisted goal with a power-play assist in Saturday's 4-3 win against the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Steen stepped up with Paul Stastny (illness) sidelined, working on the top power-play unit alongside Vladimir Tarasenko. As long as Stastny is under the weather Steen has a little extra fantasy appeal.

Steen scored the game-winning goal and added an assist -- both on the power play -- during Thursday's win over Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
While the multi-point night snapped a three-game point drought, Steen still has an impressive nine goals and 21 points through his past 21 games. Additionally, he has been playing consistently with Vladimir Taranseko in all situations of late, which is a huge fantasy boon. Considering he's well past his prime at 32, Steen's likely currently overachieving offensively. However, even with some negative regression, he's still a solid asset.

Steen had the game-tying goal and then assisted on Paul Stastny's game winner in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
The Blues were a motivated team Thursday, playing for the first time since Mike Yeo was promoted from assistant coach to replace the fired Ken Hitchcock. Including Steen, four players registered multiple points. For Steen, the goal was his sixth marker in nine games and the two points give him 16 over the last 14 games. The 32-year-old forward is working well on the top line with Stastny (14 points in last 13 games), so we don't expect Yeo break up this combo anytime soon.

Steen scored two goals, added an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 7-3 loss to the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Both goals came in the third period with the game well out of reach, so they didn't provide a ton of values to the team, but they did perpetuate Steen's hot streak. The Canadian winger has five goals and a dozen points over the course of his last nine games, representing quite a departure from his first 31 contests (three goals, 18 points and a minus-12 rating as well as six games missed to injury). When healthy, Steen has long been among the league's most reliable scorers, so if he can stay on the ice, he should produce well down the stretch. However, he'll need to shoot more if he wants to do that, as the veteran winger stunningly has just 56 shots on goal through 40 games.

Steen scored his first power-play goal of the year and added an assist Tuesday against Ottawa, but he also went minus-2.
EDGE Analysis
Steen has five straight years of putting the "plus" in plus-minus, but he's now sitting on a minus-12 this year and his point-gathering rate is down as well. Indeed, the season numbers say that the veteran winger's in the midst of his worst campaign in years, but January has actually been a totally different story -- he has three goals and six assists in eight contests since the calendar turned to 2017. That said, Steen's only taken nine shots in that span (stunningly, he's blocked 13 in that same time), and it'll be hard for him to maintain this uptick if he doesn't start putting more pucks on net.

Steen had two power-play assists in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old forward now has points in three straight games, including two multi-point efforts. Steen's offensive production has dropped off this season, mirroring his team's struggles to score and play consistently from game to game, and his minus-10 rating is scary. We're left to wonder if the player that averaged .85 points per game and was a combined plus-28 over the past three seasons will ever return.
