Doctson recorded one reception for 11 yards and a score in Sunday's win over the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Doctson scored his second touchdown of the season on Sunday but he has yet to register over two catches in a single contest. The second-year pro is capable of being a big-play option in the red zone but his lack of targets will limit his fantasy value.

Doctson (shoulder) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Doctson strained his shoulder during a 29-20 loss to the Chiefs in Week 4, but he's apparently healthy enough to practice without limitation coming out of a bye week. He's been efficient with his limited targets this season, turning six looks into three catches for 79 yards and a touchdown. Doctson still only logged 17 snaps in Week 4, while Ryan Grant handled 22. Consistent production will be elusive if Doctson and Grant continue to essentially share the No. 3 receiver role.

Head coach Jay Gruden said Tuesday that Doctson strained his shoulder during Monday's 29-20 loss at Kansas City. "We're fine with Josh and where he's at," Gruden told Liz Clarke of The Washington Post.
EDGE Analysis
Doctson picked up the injury on his diving attempt at a catch in the end zone just before the Redskins knotted up the score at 20-20 with a field goal in the final minute of the game. On the season, he's only been targeted six times, yet his three receptions have gone for a ridiculous 26.3 YPC and 13.2 YPT. While representative of his talent, the 2016 first-round pick will be unable to tap into his potential until he begins to avoid the injury bug. Fortunately for Doctson, the Redskins have a Week 5 bye, so he has more time than normal to focus on rehabilitation.

Doctson caught one of two targets for 52 yards and a touchdown during the Redskins' 27-10 victory over the Raiders on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Doctson flashed his big-play upside Sunday night by leaping over Raiders CB David Amerson for a 52-yard scoring strike in the third quarter that essentially sealed the game for Washington. His usage wasn't enough to warrant immediate fantasy consideration, but the former first-rounder nonetheless reinserted himself into the conversation as someone to either stash away or keep an eye on down the road.

Though he only drew one target and didn't catch any passes, Doctson played 29 of 71 offensive snaps in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Rams, Master Tesfatsion of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Doctson closed the playing-time gap on Ryan Grant, whose lone catch (on two targets and 30 snaps) was a game-winning touchdown from 11 yards out. Grant held a 37-20 snap advantage over Doctson the previous week while catching four passes for 61 yards on six targets. It seems the two will continue to battle for looks behind Terrelle Pryor and Jamison Crowder, though Grant has clearly outplayed Doctson through two games. Neither figures to have fantasy value unless he can clearly beat out the other for the No. 3 role. Even in that situation, the winner likely would have inconsistent involvement in an offense that also features pass-catching back Chris Thompson and tight ends Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis.

Doctson (hamstring) is listed as active Sunday at the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
Plagued by a hamstring injury since early August, Doctson will continue to play through the issue. However, he managed to log just 20 snaps in Week 1, during which he went without a target, so fellow wide receivers Terrelle Pryor, Jamison Crowder and Ryan Grant are better bets to connect with Kirk Cousins.

Doctson (hamstring) is in line to play Sunday against the Rams, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Doctson, who is listed as questionable on the Redskins' injury report, was limited during practice this week, but appears well enough to suit up in Week 2. However, since Doctson likely isn't 100 percent healthy, the Redskins could opt to limit his snap count, which was the case in Week 1. Doctson handled 20 snaps in the season-opening loss to the Eagles, but wasn't targeted in the contest.

Doctson (hamstring) was limited at Friday's practice and will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Even if he were to play, Doctson likely would be limited to work as the No. 4 receiver behind Terrelle Pryor, Jamison Crowder and Ryan Grant. The 2016 first-round pick could come down to a game-time decision, with a potential absence freeing up a few snaps for Brian Quick. Doctson failed to draw a target on 20 snaps in Week 1.

Doctson (hamstring) was limited during Thursday's practice. "[Doctson's] just tight. [The injury isn't] going to make him miss time," Redskins coach Jay Gruden said.
EDGE Analysis
Gruden's comments suggest that Doctson has only been limited for the team's first two practices this week as a safeguard against a more serious setback with the hamstring, so the expectation is that the second-year wideout will suit up in Week 2 against the Rams. However, Doctson could see his snap count limited as a result of the injury, which was also the case in Week 1. He played just 20 snaps in the Redskins' loss to the Eagles and wasn't targeted in the contest.

Doctson (hamstring) was limited at Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Doctson was bothered by his hamstring throughout much of August and didn't draw any targets on 20 snaps in Sunday's loss to the Eagles. His continued struggles to stay on the practice field will only make it harder for him to take the No. 3 receiver role away from Ryan Grant, who caught four of six targets for 61 yards (on 37 snaps) in Week 1. Doctson doesn't seem to be in serious danger of missing Sunday's game against the Rams, but he'll likely be limited to the No. 4 role again.
