Doctson turned four targets into two receptions, 28-yards, and a touchdown Thursday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Offense was tough to come by for both teams throughout most of the evening, but Doctson salvaged his game with a touchdown reception mid-way through the fourth quarter and gave Redskins the lead. It was the 24-year-old's fourth trip to the end zone this season and first time since Week 8. He will seek to start a streak when the Giants face the Cowboys in Week 13.

Doctson turned seven targets into four catches for 81 yards in Sunday's 34-31 overtime loss to the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Doctson's promotion to a starting wide receiver role at Terrelle Pryor's expense has led to an increase in targets, as he's tied his career high with seven in each of the past two weeks while picking up a career-best 81 receiving yards in this one. The 2016 first-rounder out of TCU has had to battle through injuries in the early stages of his career, but Docton's big-play ability gives him serious upside now that he's playing a sizable role.

Doctson, who played a season-high 69 offensive snaps and drew seven targets in the Redskins' Week 10 loss to the Vikings, could be in store for a similarly high workload in Sunday's game against the Saints, Master Tesfatsion of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Doctson displaced Terrelle Pryor as Washington's starting 'X' receiver Week 7 against Philadelphia, and though the second-year player isn't expected to lose that role, it nonetheless helps his case that Pryor is nursing a foot injury that will sideline him for the Week 11 matchup. In addition, the Redskins could be without two other depth wideouts in Ryan Grant (concussion) and Brian Quick (concussion), leaving the team with as few as three healthy receivers in the contest. Jamison Crowder, tight end Vernon Davis and running back Chris Thompson might still rank ahead of Doctson in the Redskins' passing tree, but the lack of alternatives beyond that might be enough to keep Doctson quite involved Sunday.

Doctson is one of just three healthy wide receivers for the Redskins ahead of Sunday's game in New Orleans, Master Tesfatsion of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Maurice Harris is the one who really stands to benefit, as Doctson already has a four-game streak logging at least 79.7 percent of the offensive snaps. The 2016 first-round pick has struggled to turn playing time into consistent production, and he'll draw a touch matchup Sunday against the Saints' breakout cornerback duo of Marshon Lattimore and Ken Crawley.

Doctson hauled in four of his seven targets for 30 yards in Sunday's loss to the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
Doctson's four receptions mark a new season-high, as the wideout continues to see growth in the offense after Terrelle Pryor's struggles. Although his numbers Sunday weren't spectacular, Doctson did see the most offensive snaps (69) of any Washington wideout. He'll now be tasked with going up against a hard-nosed Saints secondary, which is averaging the seventh-fewest passing yards per game in the league this season.

Doctson caught three of five pass attempts for 59 yards in Sunday's win 17-14 win over Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Doctson almost had a much bigger day as he was ruled down at the half-yard line after his 38-yard catch set up the game-winning score. The newly-minted starter was the third most-targeted pass catcher for the Redskins behind Vernon Davis (nine) and Chris Thompson (six). But with Davis injuring his hand and Jordan Reed and Jamison Crowder both still possibly nursing hamstring injuries, Doctson could be on tap for an even bigger role in Week 10's matchup with Minnesota.

Doctson hauled in one of three targets for a one-yard touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Doctson has seen a major uptick in offensive snaps the past two weeks given Terrelle Pryor's struggles, but has failed to see a sizable increase in production during that time. He was able to salvage some fantasy value with his one-yard score late in the fourth quarter Sunday, but Doctson has only managed four receptions on eight targets as a starter the past two weeks. However, it's too early to jump to conclusions about the second-year pro, especially if his offensive snaps continue to rise, so for now Doctson remains an interesting fantasy option.

The Redskins are expected to proceed with Doctson as their starting "X" receiver ahead of Terrelle Pryor in their Week 8 matchup with the Cowboys on Sunday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After impressing in a more limited role in his first five appearances of the season, Doctson was appointed to the starting ranks ahead of Monday's 34-24 loss to the Eagles. The lineup change allowed Doctson to earn a season-high five targets, which he parlayed into three catches and 39 yards over 54 snaps. Doctson's enhanced role came at the expense of Pryor, with the offseason free-agency pickup earning just one snap in the first half before seeing more work over the final two quarters. Even so, Pryor finished with a meager two catches for 14 yards on the evening and dropped the other two targets that came his way, which won't help his case for poaching snaps from Doctson. Given his exorbitant salary, Pryor probably won't be phased out of the offense entirely, but at this point, it looks like Doctson will be given a real chance to show the coaching staff what he can do after injuries mostly ruined his rookie season.

Doctson hauled in three of five targets for 39 yards in Monday's loss to the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
Doctson has been relatively quiet all season but saw a season-high 54 offensive snaps (84.4%) on Monday night, just a few days after head coach Jay Gruden made clear his goal of getting the wideout more into the fold. With Terrelle Pryor fading in Washington's offensive gameplans, Doctson could see his targets continue to climb in the coming weeks - which is something to definitely keep an eye on in deeper fantasy leagues.

Doctson is expected to handle a larger role going forward, Master Tesfatsion of The Washington Post reports. "We are going to actively expand [his role], without a doubt," Redskins coach Jay Gruden said Monday. "He didn't get as many reps as I would like at the end of the day when you look at the numbers, but it's our job. We have got to get him in there more and expand it."
EDGE Analysis
Doctson has logged more than 41 percent of offensive snaps in just one game this season, drawing three or fewer targets in each of his five appearances. He's only caught four of his nine targets, but he's parlayed those receptions into 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Any additional playing time likely will come at the expense of Ryan Grant, who has 13 catches for 158 yards and two touchdowns on 20 targets this year. The Redskins boast a deep stable of pass catchers, which has allowed Kirk Cousins to throw for 251 yards and 1.8 touchdowns per game while distributing no more than 5.8 targets per game to any one player. Doctson figures to take on a large roler as the season progresses, but he'll probably only get a handful of targets per game even if everything breaks right.
