Contrary to a previous report by a member of NFL Network, free agent DE John Abraham has not signed with the Patriots. The tweet stated that "Abraham is a Patriot," but it has since been deleted. Abraham is in New England on Friday, but no deal has been signed. He is still available to the highest bidder. Abraham is one of the top pass rushers left on the market, along with Elvis Dumervil, Dwight Freeney, James Harrison, and Osi Umenyiora.

Free agent DE John Abraham will visit the Patriots on Friday. New England is on the lookout for some pass rush help, and Abraham would certainly provide it. With the market price for pass rushers at an extremely low level, Abraham, 35 in May, could likely be had at a bargain rate.

A tweet from free agent John Abraham late Saturday indicated that he's returned home after club-facility visits to the 49ers and Seahawks. "Thanks Seahawks (and) 49ers for great visits," he said. "Back home in A(tlanta), time for some rest." Abraham has drawn interest from the Titans and Bucs as well. We expect him to command at least $5 million annually on his next deal.

ESPN New York confirmed the Jets have no interest in reuniting with free agent DE John Abraham. Abraham last played for the Jets in 2005 before joining the Falcons. Abraham is currently on a West Coast tour, having just met with the Seahawks Friday and set to officially visit with the 49ers Saturday. There's certainly no shortage of teams interested in the veteran pass rusher's services. New Orleans and Tampa Bay have also been mentioned as potential suitors.

The Titans have not had any contact with free agent DE John Abraham since last week's release by the Falcons. "So far, no contact," reported Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean. Abraham has been floated as a free-agent target for Tennessee, but the "buzz" may be agent driven. Abraham was cut just over a week ago. It defies logic that the Titans would hold off on contacting Abraham if they were interested in a deal.

Free agent John Abraham left his Seahawks visit Friday without a contract in place. For the time being at least, this makes Abraham unlikely to sign with Seattle. Abraham arrived in San Francisco "over an hour or so ago," and will dine with 49ers officials late Friday. His official visit will take place Saturday.

The Tampa Times confirms that the Buccaneers have interest in free agent DE John Abraham. The Bucs join a long list that definitely,/i> includes San Francisco and Seattle, and might include New Orleans and Tennessee. Tampa Bay is now expected to let free agent Michael Bennett walk, and Abraham could replace him on the left side, at least on passing downs. Abraham is a better edge rusher than Bennett.

Profootballtalk's Mike Florio says free agent DE John Abraham could possibly be visiting the Titans and Saints next. Tennessee was interested in Abraham last offseason before he re-upped in Atlanta on a three-year deal. They're actively searching for more pass-rush help to mix in with Kamerion Wimbley and Derrick Morgan. In New Orleans, Abraham would be a stand-up edge rusher in Rob Ryan's 3-4 defense.

In addition to the Seahawks, free agent John Abraham has scheduled a visit with the 49ers. Highly productive despite his age (35 in May), Abraham would be a scary addition to each of these Super Bowl contenders, and particularly in San Francisco playing opposite Aldon Smith. Abraham's 49ers visit is expected to take place Friday night and Saturday. He met with the Seahawks on Friday afternoon.

Free agent DE John Abraham will visit the Seahawks this week. It's Abraham's first known visit since being released by the Falcons last Wednesday. The Seahawks are on the search for pass rushing help, and the 35-year-old Abraham would certainly fit the bill. He recorded ten sacks in 2012 while lining up all over the defensive front in Atlanta. Abraham would be a nice fit as Seattle's "Leo" pass rusher while Chris Clemons recovers from a torn ACL.
