NFL.com's Ian Rapoport confirms that free agent DE John Abraham is not considering retirement. Abraham hinted on his Twitter account Saturday that he was planning to retire, but the 35-year-old is reportedly just frustrated with the free-agent process. Now that the Falcons have moved on, Abraham could struggle to find a team that's willing to sign him. He visited with Titans earlier this week.

The Dolphins haven't ruled out free agent John Abraham, but haven't "pursued him recently after initial conversations." That suggests Abraham will be a stronger possibility in South Florida if/when his price comes down. He'd be a luxury addition for a team that's already set along its defensive line. Abraham hasn't made a visit in over 20 days.

The New Orleans Times-Picayune expects the Saints to "ponder" free agent John Abraham. The Saints were one of the first teams connected to Abraham shortly after his release from the Falcons, and a source told beat writer Larry Holder the team would consider signing the 35-year-old once the market cooled. We're at that stage. The Saints finished tied for 25th in sacks last season with 30.

Appearing on Total Access Tuesday, NFL Network's Michelle Beisner reported the Broncos' interest in free agent John Abraham is "not what it was." The obvious implication is that the Broncos are focusing on former Peyton Manning confidant Dwight Freeney, but it's possible they're simply moving on to cheaper options. Abraham has visited the Seahawks, Patriots and Broncos, but hasn't come close to landing a new deal. It's probably time for Abraham to lower his asking price.

The Denver Post reports the Broncos would rather sign free agent John Abraham than Dwight Freeney to replace Elvis Dumervil. The Post reports the Broncos will now "focus on" Abraham while keeping Freeney on the radar as a fallback "possibility." Abraham is no longer an every-down player, but he is an explosive edge rusher with dynamic ability to affect passers even going on age 35. Both Freeney and Abraham visited the Broncos last week.

ESPN Boston believes John Abraham is the best fit among the veteran free agent defensive ends for the Patriots. Abraham visited the Patriots earlier in the month, but nothing has developed yet with him, Dwight Freeney, and Osi Umenyiora. The soon-to-be 35-year-old Abraham would slot in perfectly as a sub-package edge rusher along with Rob Ninkovich and Chandler Jones in New England. We'd expect the trio of Abraham, Freeney, and Umenyiora to have new homes within a week.

Free agent John Abraham will visit the Broncos on Thursday. The Broncos will host Dwight Freeney first, however, meaning there's a chance Abraham never makes it to Denver. Thus far, Abraham has visited the Seahawks and Patriots, but doesn't appear to have come close to a new deal. Per the Miami Herald, the Dolphins have determined Abraham is "not a fit."

Free agent DE John Abraham visited the Dolphins earlier in the week. There have been conflicting reports on if the visit happened or not, but Profootballtalk's Mike Florio says his "best guess" is that the visit occurred on Tuesday night. Per NFL.com's Jeff Darlington, who is as clued in to the Dolphins as anyone, Abraham was at the Dolphins' facility, but he was there later than Miami expected him to be. Abraham reportedly missed his initial flight, but he booked a new one on his own dime to rekindle interest after the Dolphins moved on. Dolphins sources tell Darlington that the team still did not meet with Abraham. All in all, Abraham is still a free agent.
