Davis (groin) was listed as a non-participant on Thursday's practice report, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis was listed as limited Wednesday after appearing to be shaken up during individual drills, so Thursday's downgrade clouds the wideout's status for Sunday's game against the Texans. What Davis is able to do Friday thus will be pivotal with regard to his Week 12 status. If he's out or limited this weekend, added looks would be available for the likes of Elijah Moore, Jamison Crowder, Keelan Cole and Braxton Berrios.

Davis was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a groin injury, Connor Hughes of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per Hughes, Davis appeared to be shaken up during individual drills Wednesday. As a result, the wideout's status should be monitored in advance of Sunday's tilt against the Texans. Through eight games, Davis, who leads the Jets with 477 receiving yards, has scored four TDs, while averaging four catches and seven targets.

Davis caught three of seven targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to Miami.
EDGE Analysis
Davis and Joe Flacco weren't on the same page, as Flacco found most of his success throwing to Elijah Moore, who finished with eight catches for 141 yards and a touchdown. If Zach Wilson (knee) makes his return in Week 12 against Houston as expected, Davis would be the biggest beneficiary in New York's passing game, as he was easily the rookie quarterback's favorite target when Wilson was healthy.

Davis (hip) caught five of seven targets for 93 yards and lost a fumble in Sunday's 45-17 loss to the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
A silver lining for the Jets after this blowout loss is that Davis looked fine in his return after missing the previous two games due to a hip injury. He was the only Jet to top 50 receiving yards, and Davis has eclipsed 90 in three of his first seven games with New York. The 26-year-old wide receiver has 29 catches on 49 targets for 442 yards and four touchdowns heading into a Week 11 matchup with the Dolphins.

Davis (hip) is active for Sunday's game against the Bills, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
He'll be making his return to the lineup after a two-game absence due the hip injury. Though Davis managed only one full practice this week, he was at least able to participate in a limited capacity Wednesday and Thursday, so the expectation is that he'll be able to take on a normal workload in his first game since Week 7. Davis will be catching passes from Mike White, who will make his third start of the season but his first with the Jets' No. 1 receiver available.

Davis (hip) is listed as questionable but expected to play Sunday against the Bills, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis logged a full practice Friday after limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday, throwing further supporting evidence behind coach Robert Saleh's assertion that the Jets' top wide receiver is expected to make his return after a two-game absence. After being the only Jets wide receiver to find consistent success with rookie Zach Wilson under center, Davis will be catching passes from Mike White against the Bills, if the wideout indeed suits up.

Coach Robert Saleh said Friday that Davis (hip) "looks good" to play Sunday against the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Davis said he went "full throttle" in his return to practice earlier this week, and and it appears he's still on track to retake the field Sunday after missing the past two games with the hip issue. The 26-year-old's outlook for this weekend will receive additional clarity when the Jets release their official injury report later Friday.

Davis said Wednesday that his hip is feeling better and that he went "full throttle" in his return to practice, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
That said, Davis, who has missed two straight games, was officially listed as a limited participant Wednesday. Barring any setbacks, Davis appears to be trending toward a return to action Sunday against the Bills, a game that will feature Mike White drawing another start at quarterback for the Jets in placed of the injured Zach Wilson (knee).

Davis (hip) will be limited in practice Wednesday, Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Head coach Robert Saleh said Monday that he expects Davis to be available Week 10, and the wideout's return to practice is a tangible step in the right direction. If Davis indeed is cleared to suit up versus Buffalo on Sunday, he'll likely be catching passes for Mike White (forearm), as the Jets seem content to give No. 1 quarterback Zach Wilson another week to heal up from a knee injury.

Jets head coach Robert Saleh said he expects Davis (hip) to return to action Sunday against the Bills, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis' hip injury has kept him sidelined for the Jets' past two games, but with a longer turnaround for the Week 10 contest following a Thursday night game in Week 9, the wideout looks as though he'll have sufficient time to recover. Saleh suggested that Davis will begin the week as a participant in practice, but the extent of his activity won't be known until the team issues its first injury report of the week Wednesday. Assuming he suits up Sunday, Davis likely will be catching passes from Mike White rather than No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson (knee), whom Saleh suggested likely will need another week to heal up before being ready for game action.
