Jets head coach Robert Saleh said he expects Davis (hip) to return to action Sunday against the Bills, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis' hip injury has kept him sidelined for the Jets' past two games, but with a longer turnaround for the Week 10 contest following a Thursday night game in Week 9, the wideout looks as though he'll have sufficient time to recover. Saleh suggested that Davis will begin the week as a participant in practice, but the extent of his activity won't be known until the team issues its first injury report of the week Wednesday. Assuming he suits up Sunday, Davis likely will be catching passes from Mike White rather than No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson (knee), whom Saleh suggested likely will need another week to heal up before being ready for game action.
