Davis caught four of six targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 54-13 loss to New England.
EDGE Analysis
Davis' three-yard touchdown catch was thrown by Mike White, who replaced Zach Wilson (knee) under center in the second quarter. While Davis is almost assured decent volume on a weekly basis as the Jets' top option on the outside, White's reluctance to push the ball downfield in this one suggests Davis' production could take a hit if Wilson remains sidelined Week 8 against the Bengals and beyond.

Davis recorded four receptions on seven targets for 45 yards in Sunday's loss to the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Davis led the team in targets and yards, though he was limited by the Jets' overall effectiveness on offense. He managed big receptions of 20 and 14 yards and now has six catches of 20 or more yards on the season. Through five games, Davis has two games with 95 or more receiving yards but also three with 50 or fewer. The Jets will have a bye in Week 6 and will return to play in Week 7 against New England.

Davis caught four of seven targets for 111 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-24 overtime win over the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
Davis delivered in the revenge game against the team that drafted him fifth overall in 2017. He gave New York a 24-17 fourth-quarter lead with a 53-yard touchdown, turning upfield after quarterback Zach Wilson gestured for him to do so before delivering a dime right into Davis' breadbasket. With Wilson starting to look more comfortable, things are also looking up for Davis, who has three of the Jets' five touchdowns this season as the team's No. 1 receiver. Expect a boatload of targets for Davis in Week 5 when the Jets take on the vulnerable Falcons secondary in London.

Davis recorded five receptions on 10 targets for 41 yards in Sunday's Week 3 loss to the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Davis commanded his highest-target total as a Jet but couldn't make much of the opportunity. His longest reception of the day went for only 13 yards, and he recorded only one other catch that went for double-digit yards. Since recording 97 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1, Davis has combined to record seven receptions for 49 yards combined across his last two games. It's possible that Davis' production improves as he and rookie Zach Wilson have more time to work together, though it will be difficult to trust Davis in the immediate future given his current level of production. He will draw a matchup against his former team when the Jets take on the Titans in Week 4.

Davis caught two of five passes for eight yards in Sunday's 25-6 loss to New England.
EDGE Analysis
Davis was blanked in the first half, as the Patriots limited quarterback Zach Wilson to three completions and picked him off three times. The Jets' top receiver managed to get on the stat sheet after halftime but still ended up posting a dud. With a two-touchdown performance in his Jets debut showcasing Davis' high ceiling and this effort demonstrating his low floor, Davis will be a high-risk, high-reward Week 3 option in Denver.

Davis caught five of seven targets for 97 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 19-14 loss to the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Davis' only catch of the first half was an exciting one, as he turned the corner and broke a tackle for a 35-yard gain. He added even more material for the highlight reel in the second half, scoring touchdowns of 22 and eight yards as the Jets' offense came alive after taking a goose egg into the locker room. The big-money free agent signing is the clear No. 1 receiving option for a Jets team that will likely find itself playing from behind more often than not.

Davis caught four of six targets for 70 yards in Saturday's 23-14 preseason win over Green Bay.
EDGE Analysis
The Jets' starters on offense played almost the whole first half, and Davis was targeted on six of quarterback Zach Wilson's 11 throws. The chemistry between the rookie quarterback and free-agent addition at wide receiver has been apparent, though both of Wilson's touchdowns in this one went to tight end Tyler Kroft. Regardless of his involvement in the preseason finale against the Eagles, Davis is poised to open the season as the No. 1 wide receiver in a Jets offense that looks much more competent than last year's league-worst unit.

Davis caught two of four targets for 18 yards in Saturday's 12-7 preseason win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Davis was the clear top receiving option dressed for the Jets, and he showed it on the opening drive, as all four of Wilson's throws on the drive went Davis' way. The prized offseason addition and the rookie second overall pick are already building chemistry, and Davis will look to strengthen his relationship with Wilson further in Week 2 of the preseason against the Packers.

Davis (shoulder) participated in team drills during June minicamp, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis didn't miss much time after suffering a shoulder strain at the end of May. He should be a full go for the start of training camp, where he'll likely be the top perimeter target for rookie QB Zach Wilson. The Jets do have a deep group of wide receivers, with Davis joined by Denzel Mims, Jamison Crowder, Keelan Cole and rookie Elijah Moore.

Davis (shoulder) is taking part in the early drills during Tuesday's practice, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis injured his shoulder during OTAs in late May and hadn't been spotted at practice since. It appears he's doing better at this point and is working with the first-team offense. It remains to be seen if his participation level will be full, but the fact that he's on the field at all suggests he should be ready for the start of training camp next month.
