He tied A.J. Brown for the team lead in targets, but Davis appeared to be fighting the ball all day and dropped at least three very catchable balls. As a result, the 25-year-old came up short of his first career 1,000-yard campaign after coming into the game needing only 55 more yards. Davis will try to regain his focus before next Sunday's wild-card round clash with the Ravens.

Davis failed to corral either of his two targets Sunday in the Titans' 40-14 loss to the Packers.

Though Davis played 45 of 55 offensive snaps (82 percent) while the Titans trailed for most of the night, he didn't benefit from what normally would have been a pass-happy game script. Due to the snowy conditions and slick field in Green Bay, the Titans opted for a nearly even pass-run split (28-27), leaving few targets to go around for any member of the pass-catching corps. As a result, Davis was held without a reception for the second time this season, the only blemishes on what has otherwise been a breakout campaign for the fourth-year wideout. With 945 receiving yards on the season, Davis will still have a fair shot at cracking 1,000 when he takes on a vulnerable Houston secondary in the Titans' regular-season finale Jan. 3.

Davis jump-started the Titans offense with a 75-yard touchdown down the left sideline late in the first quarter. That accounted for the majority of his production, though he was also able to tack on a pair of additional 14-yard receptions. Overall, Davis turned in a nice bounce-back effort after flopping for a 34-yard performance in Week 14. He'll look to put together another 100-yard outing in Week 16 against Green Bay.

The Titans attempted only 24 passes, yet pounded the Jaguars for 40 rushing attempts. That led to a low-target total for Davis, who finished tied for second on the team with three targets. While it's always a risk that Derrick Henry will take over a game, Davis should be in line for a bump in targets in Week 15 against the Lions.

Davis was one of the few bright spots for the Titans as their offense failed to get going outside of his individual effort. He delivered several splash plays, including six receptions of 15 yards or greater. Among the highlights was a 43-yard reception on the Titans' first offensive possession of the second half in which he beat the Browns' zone coverage crossing the middle of the field. He also found the end zone for the first time since Week 8, recording a 17-yard touchdown catch early in the second quarter. With A.J. Brown and Derrick Henry requiring the majority of opposing defenses' attention, Davis has managed to emerge as a big-play threat for the Titans. He's also managed to produce relatively consistently, surpassing 65 yards in each of his last four contests.

Davis recorded three receptions on three targets for 70 yards in Week 12 against the Colts.

Davis matched his lowest target total of the season as the Titans threw only seven passes in the second half. Even so, he ripped off long receptions of 37 and 21 yards prior to halftime to make the most of his opportunities. Prior to this contest, Davis had seen at least six targets in four of five games, so he could see more volume in Week 13 against the Browns.
