Braylon Edwards (hamstring) is active, but Dustin Keller (ankle) and Stephen Hill (knee) are inactive for Monday night's game against the Titans. Edwards was listed as questionable on the injury report after being claimed off waivers from the Seahawks earlier in the week, but he was always expected to play. He likely won't be a big factor in the game, though. Keller will be replaced in the lineup by Jeff Cumberland again this week, while Hill is out with an LCL strain. Also inactive for the Jets are QB Greg McElroy, CB Aaron Berry, OLB Bryan Thomas, NT Damon Harrison, and C Caleb Schlauderaff.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on SportsCenter that Braylon Edwards may start Monday night's game against the Titans. "Tells you a little bit about where this wide receiver corps is right now," Schefter added. Schefter did allow that Edwards would probably only start if the Jets open the game in a certain offensive package, suggesting he may not be a full-time player in his first game back with the team. Edwards was listed as questionable for the game with a hamstring injury.

Braylon Edwards (hamstring) was limited in practice on Saturday and is listed as questionable for Monday night versus the Titans. Edwards was limited all week after being claimed off waivers by the Jets, but head coach Rex Ryan is optimistic that he'll suit up in Tennessee. Ryan just isn't sure how much Edwards will play. He's not a fantasy option.

Coach Rex Ryan expects newly re-signed Braylon Edwards (hamstring) to play Monday. Edwards was a limited participant in Thursday's practice after passing his physical. He'll be ready to go as a situational deep threat for a desperate Jets receiving corps. Stephen Hill (knee), Dustin Keller (ankle) and Clyde Gates (concussion) are all in doubt.

Coach Pete Carroll said the Seahawks waived new Jets WR Braylon Edwards because they believed "he had a three-week injury or so." "It would be a while for him to get back and we weren't sure if he would make it back," Carroll said. The Jets refused comment on Carroll's disclosure, but it certainly sounds like Edwards may not be ready to go for Week 15. If that's the case, it would make Edwards' acquisition quite bizarre. The Jets were the only club to place a claim on the fading 29-year-old deep threat.

Jets claimed WR Braylon Edwards off waivers from the Seahawks. Stephen Hill's knee injury left the Jets thin in the passing game with Clyde Gates (concussion) and Dustin Keller (ankle) also sidelined. Edwards struggled to separate from defenders in posting just eight receptions for 74 yards over 10 games with the Seahawks. Seattle cited an injury in waiving Edwards, though he played just two days before the transaction. Edwards isn't worth adding in fantasy leagues.

The New York Post confirms the Jets will indeed sign Braylon Edwards if he clears waivers on Tuesday. Credit the Jets' "decision-makers" for an open mind just a week after Edwards slammed them on Twitter. Edwards has never played in Tony Sparano's offense. We wouldn't expect much of a contribution in the final three games even if his bulky knee is back to full health.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Jets will consider bringing back Braylon Edwards this week. Edwards was officially waived off of injured reserve by Seattle on Monday, and the Jets are expected to take a look at the receiver. New York has four healthy receivers on the roster, but none of them are particularly starting-caliber players. CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported last week that the Jets were interested in trading for Edwards prior to the trading deadline, so they could put in a claim.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports that the Jets tried to trade for free agent Braylon Edwards before he was cut by the Seahawks. The Jets reportedly "approached" the Seahawks about an Edwards deal, and were "serious" about making one ahead of the mid-October trade deadline. Seattle was unwilling to part with Edwards at the time. Edwards proceeded to rip the Jets' front office on Twitter in early December, which not only contributed to his release by the Seahawks, but likely eliminated any remaining Jets interest.

Seahawks waived/injured WR Braylon Edwards. Edwards played last week, losing an apparent touchdown to replay. He did sit out two weeks with a knee injury a month ago, but wasn't known to be injured in Week 13. Perhaps his release is tied to Tuesday's Twitter outburst against the "idiots calling the shots" in the Jets organization. Edwards has since apologized for the comments, likely at the behest of his agent.
