Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Braylon Edwards (knee) "should be back" for Week 10. Edwards missed the previous two games due to soreness and tightness in his knee, but the two weeks of rest helped out. Edwards has no fantasy value, as he's firmly behind Sidney Rice, Golden Tate, and Doug Baldwin in a run-heavy offense.

Seahawks declared WR Braylon Edwards, DE Jason Jones, SS Winston Guy, CB Byron Maxwell, OT Mike Person, OG James Carpenter, and DT Jaye Howard inactive for Week 9 versus the Vikings. Doug Baldwin is active two weeks after suffering a high-ankle sprain. Greg Scruggs is expected to pick up extra snaps with pass rusher Jason Jones sidelined by his own ankle injury.

Braylon Edwards (knee) is listed as out for Week 9. Golden Tate won't lose snaps to Edwards this week; the Seahawks had been hoping to let those two rotate going forward. Sidney Rice remains the only Seattle pass catcher worth serious fantasy consideration against the Vikings.

Braylon Edwards (knee) will "get some work (in) this week." Edwards' exact level of participation in Wednesday's practice is unknown, but it doesn't sound like the tightness that held him out of Sunday's loss is serious. Even if Edwards gets healthy enough to play against the Vikings, he'll remain miles from fantasy relevance.

Updating a previous item, Braylon Edwards was scratched for Week 8 against the Lions because his knee "tightened up unexpectedly" before the game. Edwards lost his starting job early in the season to Golden Tate, but he's been playing in Seattle's nickel offense and had appeared in all seven games. He has knee problems dating back to last season, but it's unclear whether the latest injury is a long-term concern. Ben Obomanu is picking up more playing time.

Seahawks declared WR Braylon Edwards, WR Doug Baldwin, CB Danny Gorrer, CB Byron Maxwell, G John Moffitt, DT Jason Jones and DT Jaye Howard inactive for Week 8 against the Lions. Baldwin is week-to-week with a high ankle sprain. He'll be 14 days removed from the injury on Thursday, but it still shouldn't be assumed he'll be ready for Week 9. Moffitt remains day-to-day with a knee issue.

Braylon Edwards caught two passes for 21 yards and a touchdown in Seattle's Week 6 win over the Patriots. Edwards made a beautiful grab in the end zone on a 10-yard fade in the fourth quarter, but appeared to get away with offensive pass interference. In the end, he was targeted just three times after being held to one catch over his past four games. Edwards remains miles from fantasy relevance.

Braylon Edwards was held without a catch for the third straight game in Seattle's Week 4 loss to the Rams. Edwards wasn't targeted, and if he played a snap, we didn't see it. Edwards clearly isn't a meaningful part of the offense in Seattle, and going by his usage since his 5/43/0 Week 1, it's possible he'll eventually be cut loose.

Braylon Edwards will be demoted in favor of Golden Tate (knee) if the latter makes it through practice without a setback this week. Edwards struggled to separate from Cardinals CB William Gay in the opener while Patrick Peterson shadowed Sidney Rice. NFL Films analyst Greg Cosell noted that Edwards looked "slow" in the preseason compared to Randy Moss. Edwards can be dropped in all formats.

Braylon Edwards led the Seahawks with five receptions for 43 yards at Arizona in Week 1. Edwards' nine targets tied Sidney Rice for the team lead, but he was unable to break free down the field. Although he drew a red-zone pass interference penalty with a minute left, he had a corner fade pass knocked away and had the final pass of the game go through his out-stretched hands in the end zone. Edwards didn't exactly run with the split end job while Golden Tate was sidelined.
