Andre Johnson caught seven passes for 97 yards in the Texans' Week 16 loss to the Vikings.

Andre Johnson blames a lingering groin injury originally sustained in training camp for his slow start to the 2012 season. The Texans deemed Johnson full healthy in early September, but he clearly wasn't 100 percent during a four-game stretch averaging just 41 yards from Weeks 2-5. The past eight games have been the most productive stretch of Johnson's career, averaging 8.4 catches and 119.6 yards per game. He needs just seven receptions and 140 yards to join Marvin Harrison as the only receivers with at least 100 catches and 1,500 yards in three seasons.

Andre Johnson caught 11 balls for 151 yards and a touchdown as the Texans defeated the Colts 29-17 in Week 15. He was targeted 13 times, a game high on either side of the ball. Johnson was truly dominant against Colts top CB Vontae Davis, consistently winning 50:50 balls in the air and scoring from three yards out on a rub route deep in the red zone. Johnson has reasserted himself at age 31 as a top-five NFL receiver and likely future Hall of Famer. The Texans host the Vikings next.

Andre Johnson caught eight passes for 95 yards in Houston's Week 14 loss to the Patriots on Monday night. Johnson was targeted 10 times on the night and was being shadowed by Aqib Talib early on, but that didn't deter him. Talib later left with a hip injury and never returned, which opened up more space for Johnson. It didn't amount to much of anything important, though. Andre is posting the yards on the board, but his touchdown total of three is leaving a lot to be desired. He'll look to do some work on the Colts next week, who were beaten badly by Kenny Britt in Week 14.

Andre Johnson (groin) was limited in Wednesday's practice. As were Owen Daniels and Arian Foster, though they were both sat for rest purposes. The Texans have made a habit of limiting Johnson's practice reps with minor ailments, and he should be good to go for Week 13 after setting an NFL two-game record with 461 yards receiving the past two weeks.

Andre Johnson's 461 receiving yards are the most in NFL history in back-to-back games. The 31-year-old one accomplished the feat in a five-day span. Johnson insisted last week that he was just hitting his stride and getting his legs back. He's shown steady improvement throughout the season and now ranks second behind only Calvin Johnson in receiving yards. Johnson is now on pace for 100 receptions and 1,538 receiving yards.

Andre Johnson caught nine passes for 188 yards in the Texans' Week 12 overtime win over the Lions. Johnson had another special day. He got the party started early with a bobbling sideline catch for 43 yards in the first quarter. From there, he got open at will against Chris Houston and the Texans also have found something with bubble screen plays to him. After topping 100 yards just one in the first seven games of the year, Johnson has three 100-yard games in the last four weeks. He's back.

Andre Johnson caught just four passes for 35 yards in Houston's Week 10 win over the Bears. Johnson caught all four of his passes in the first half and was targeted 10 times on the night. Matt Schaub passed for just 95 yards in the rainy and windy conditions in Chicago, and Johnson was the team's leading receiver. The 10-year vet is still seeing a ton of passes his way, so a big-time game could very well be in order against the 1-8 Jaguars in Week 11.

Andre Johnson missed Wednesday's practice for personal reasons. He'll return on Thursday. Johnson has missed a host of practice time this season, but has yet to come close to missing a game. He'll be an elite WR1 against the Bills' horrendous defense this weekend.

Andre Johnson racked up nine catches for 86 yards in the Texans' Week 7 win over the Ravens. Although Johnson isn't yet hitting big plays down the football field, he's now racked up 17 receptions and 75-or-more yards in his last two games. He's certainly still an imposing presence out wide, even if Johnson has lost a step or two in terms of vertical route running. The Texans have a Week 8 bye, and Johnson should have no trouble roasting the Bills' defense in Week 9.
