Andre Johnson got in a "full load" at Texans practice Wednesday. Johnson is 100 percent after dealing with a groin injury early in camp and getting the "wind knocked out of him" in Houston's third preseason game. Johnson's growing history of leg injuries is a concern, but he's still locked in as a top-five receiver heading into 2012.

Coach Gary Kubiak confirmed that Andre Johnson is "doing fine." Johnson left Saturday's preseason game early after getting the wind knocked out of him and then skipped practice on Monday and Tuesday. It's just precautionary. Johnson will be a full participant once the Texans turn their full attention to their Week 1 matchup with the Dolphins.

Andre Johnson exited the Texans' third preseason game early in the first half after having the wind knocked out of him. Worry spread across Twitter and fantasy land Saturday night when Johnson exited against the Saints, but he's fine. Johnson will not reenter tonight. The 31-year-old had two catches for 30 yards in the Superdome, following a two-catch, 49-yard second preseason game. We like Johnson as a top-five WR1 for 2012.

Andre Johnson caught two passes for 49 yards in the Texans' second preseason game Saturday night. Notably, he lined up in the slot on Houston's first three snaps from scrimmage. Johnson's highlight-reel play was a 43-yarder amid double coverage, and he also gained six on a drag route on Houston's first possession. After the 43-yarder, the Texans pulled Johnson to keep him healthy and Lestar Jean finished out the action with Houston's first-team offense. Johnson looks regular-season ready. We have him locked in as a top-five fantasy receiver for 2012.

Coach Gary Kubiak confirmed that Andre Johnson (groin) is expected to play in the Texans' second preseason game. Johnson has resumed practicing for a full week now and could have played in the preseason opener. Keshawn Martin will return to a reserve role when the Texans square off against the 49ers on Saturday night.

Andre Johnson (groin) is inactive for Saturday's preseason opener. The Texans are just playing things safe with their No. 1 receiver, who hasn't suffered a setback. Johnson would have only played a series or two if he was active. He should suit up for next Saturday's contest with the 49ers.

Andre Johnson (groin) took about 20 reps in his return to practice Monday. Johnson "looked good" after his week off, according to coach Gary Kubiak. The team hasn't decided yet if their No. 1 wideout will play in Saturday's preseason opener against the Panthers. Either way, Johnson's minor tweak looks like water under the bridge.

Andre Johnson (groin) returned to practice at Texans training camp Monday. He wound up missing exactly a week of workouts, as expected. While it would obviously be a concern if Johnson suffered a setback or was injured again in camp, his 12 missed games over the past two seasons were most likely bad luck and not related to any lingering durability issues. Johnson is a top-three fantasy football receiver for 2012. His current ADP is the late second round.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak expects Andre Johnson (groin) to resume practicing on Monday. That would put Johnson's absence at eight days. The Texans have insisted all along that Johnson would be ready to return by next week, but it's still possible they'll hold him out of next Saturday's preseason opener as a precaution.

Andre Johnson (groin) "looked good" running with trainers on Wednesday and is on track to resume practicing next week. Running hasn't been an issue for Johnson, who was reportedly jogging around only hours after suffering the injury on the practice field. His status continues to be day to day. Johnson's absence all along has been largely precautionary.
