Tim Duncan shot 3-of-13 from the field for 13 points with nine boards, three assists and no turnovers in 28 minutes against the Celtics on Wednesday' He is having some bad luck at making shots from close range this season, knocking down just 52 percent of his attempts from within eight feet. Duncan is shooting just 37.5 percent from the field, which would absolutely shatter his career low of 48.4 percent from back in 2005-06. His value is in the cellar and with the concerns about coach Gregg Popovich resting him more in the second half, his owner might trade him at a severe discount.

Tim Duncan is shooting 39.4 percent through eight games this season, but his slump isn't related to any health concerns. "I've played like crap the entire time, but the team has played great, and we're winning," Duncan said. "We've got a couple days to recoup [before Wednesday's game], so that's great, and we're in a great position." The Spurs are 9-1 despite Duncan's career-worst start to the season. Fantasy owners should simply remain patient, as Duncan's minutes and shot attempts are in line with his numbers from the past few seasons.

Tim Duncan bounced back from a 1-of-12 shooting night on Wednesday to hit 7-of-16 shots for 14 points, nine rebounds and three blocks on Friday against the Jazz. No surprise, here. Duncan continues to defy his age but his 40 percent shooting on the year is killing his value right now, which is in the late rounds right now.

Tim Duncan returned to action on Wednesday after getting a night off for rest, but hit just 1-of-12 shots for two points, eight rebounds and two blocks in an easy win over the Wizards. The fact the Spurs won so easily when Duncan couldn't throw it in the ocean speaks volumes, and Gregg Popovich is probably laughing at fantasy owners right now. He randomly benched Duncan in the last one, and Duncan was probably rusty tonight, doing more harm than good.

Tim Duncan will rest against the Sixers on Monday night. He played just 24 minutes against the Knicks in the blowout win on Sunday, but that still wasn't enough to sit Duncan in the second half of a back-to-back set. After tonight, the Spurs only have two games this week, so that means his owners in weekly leagues might want to keep him on the bench. Tiago Splitter and Boris Diaw are the biggest beneficiaries

Tim Duncan scored 11 points with 10 boards, two assist and one block in just 24 minutes against the Knicks. The Spurs are on the first half of a road-road back-to-back set that finishes in Philadelphia tomorrow, so the silver lining to this sub-par outing is that the Spurs resting Duncan in the fourth could help his chances of playing Monday. The Spurs have three games this week.

Tim Duncan hit 7-of-15 shots on his way to 17 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and four blocks, nearly triple-doubling in a win over the Nuggets. When Duncan's playing for the Spurs, he should be playing for your fantasy team. He may be getting older, but he still knows how to get it done against his opponents. Start him with confidence, but watch for hints that may suggest when Gregg Popovich might randomly hold him out for a future game. We'll do our best to let you know when it's happening.

Tim Duncan played 31 minutes in his return from a chest contusion injury on Saturday, scoring 24 points with seven boards, one assist and one block on 12-of-23 shooting. The Spurs aren't the type of team that puts their veterans on the floor unless they're almost completely healthy, so the big line from Duncan shouldn't come as a surprise. Although, the 23 field goals is high for him since he only took 23 or more shots in a game just once in all of last season. The Big Fundamental will be ready for Tuesday against the Nuggets.

Tim Duncan (chest) is going through warmups against the Blazers. He reportedly looks pretty good, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll play. Duncan is going to be a game-time decision. Stay tuned for a update.

Tim Duncan (bruised chest) is questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Blazers, and beat writer Jeff McDonald describes Duncan's timetable as "fluid." "Whatever it is, I don't know," Popovich said, when asked about Duncan's return. "When they tell me he's ready to play, then he'll play." That typically opaque quote from Popovich leaves owners with no choice but to bench Duncan until he's officially cleared to return. The Spurs don't return to action until Tuesday at Denver, and it wouldn't be surprising if they rested Duncan on Saturday to give him three extra days of rehab.
