Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili will both sit out Thursday's game, as Gregg Popovich has decided to give him a precautionary night off. With Tony Parker (shin) also sidelined, the Spurs will be airing out their reserves vs. the Warriors. Fantasy owners knew that they'd have to suffer through a few of these random DNPs, so it's not a complete surprise, especially coming in the second half of a back-to-back set. Tiago Splitter, Jeff Ayres, Boris Diaw and Matt Bonner will all step into bigger roles until Duncan returns to action on Saturday.

Tim Duncan scored 17 points on 5-of-12 shooting with 11 rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in Monday's loss to the Clippers. Duncan has been rolling along after a slow start to the season, with top-40 value over the past two weeks and averages of 15.8 points, 11.0 boards, 3.8 assists, 1.2 blocks and most importantly 52.5 percent shooting. Manu Ginobili also stood out with 16 points on 8-of-11 shooting, four rebounds and two assists. These two and Kawhi Leonard (12 & 8) could all see a bump in production if Tony Parker misses time with his shin injury.

Tim Duncan played 29 minutes, hit 9-of-17 shots and finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds in Saturday's win over the Jazz. Gregg Popovich did it again, as all signs were pointing to him giving his old guys a rest tonight. The Spurs were playing their fourth game in five nights and were on the second of a back-to-back, not to mention they were playing a Jazz team that isn't that good. But in typical Pop fashion, he decided to roll out his studs and rack up his fourth straight win, while the Spurs have now scored at least 100 points in eight straight games. The old guys are due for a random DNP, but because it didn't happen tonight, there's no way to predict when they might be coming. And Duncan quietly had his third straight double-double in the process.

The red-hot Spurs play on the second night of a back-to-back on Saturday against the Jazz, meaning Gregg Popovich could be ready to bench his stars, including Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker. Not only is it the second night of a back-to-back, and the Jazz are one of the worst teams in the West, but the Spurs are playing their fourth game in five nights. This is a perfect situation for Pop to rest his guys, and we wouldn't be surprised if it happens. Ginobili hasn't gotten a single night off yet this season, while Duncan's last one came on Nov. 11 and Parker didn't play on Nov. 29. While there are no guarantees that any of these guys sits, based on Popovich's history, the odds are in favor of them missing tonight's game. Stay tuned.

Tim Duncan had 12 points, 14 rebounds, eight assists, two steals and three blocks on 5-of-11 shooting in Friday's tough win over the Timberwolves. Duncan and Kevin Love put on a quite a power forward show tonight, combining for 56 points, 28 rebounds, 10 assists, three steals, three blocks and eight 3-pointers while facing each other. Duncan has been crushing for his owners recently, averaging 16.0 points, 12.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.6 blocks on 56 percent shooting over his last five games. While it's all good for Duncan right now, owners have to hope that next Gregg Popovich 'DNP-Old' game isn't just around the corner.

Tim Duncan hit 9-of-12 shots for 21 points, 16 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in just 24 minutes of Wednesday's 32-point blowout win over the Bucks. Both teams cleared their benches early in this ugly game, but not before Duncan posted one of the most efficient lines you'll ever see. He's hot right now, averaging 17.6 points, 11.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks over his last five games.

The Spurs-Wolves game in Mexico City will not be played on Wednesday. There has been no makeup date announced. The NBA really wanted to play this game, but the conditions were just too bad with all of the smoke in the arena. The game will be made up at some point, but it might not happen in Mexico City.

Tim Duncan had one of his better games on Friday night during a 109-91 win at Orlando, shooting 8-of-13 from the field for 19 points with nine boards, two assists, one steal and one block. He shot just 33.7 percent from the field in his previous 10 games and stepped up with Tony Parker (ankle) out of the lineup. The Spurs will come back home on Saturday to face the Rockets, so the back-to-back set will force his owners to make sure Duncan is good to go.

Tim Duncan hit just 3-of-8 shots for eight points, six rebounds, four assists and two blocks over 32 minutes in Friday's win over the Grizzlies. Duncan is still struggling with his shot and is playing a bit tentative, but he'll come around sooner or later and is still a good buy low target.
