Tim Duncan scored a team-high 19 points with six boards, two assists and three blocks to close out the Warriors in Game 6's 94-82 win on Thursday.
All five Spurs starters were in double figures, but defense was the story for the Spurs. They held the Warriors to just 38.8 percent shooting, including 4-of-16 from downtown. Duncan didn't play too much down the stretch tonight, but Gregg Popovich said after the game that it was his decision to keep TD on the bench. Duncan will be ready to go for Sunday and he'll have his hands full against the formidable Memphis big men.

Tim Duncan shot 10-of-21 from the field for 23 points to go with 10 boards, three assists, one steal and two blocks in 38 minutes.
He and Tony Parker took 55.7 percent of the team's shots and scored 53.9 percent of their points. Coach Pop used Danny Green more on defense and it paid off nicely in a much-needed road win. The Spurs lost the rebounding battle tonight, but shooting 50.6 percent from the field was the difference. San Antonio will look to take a commanding 3-1 lead on Sunday.

Tim Duncan bounced back from a bout with the flu and had 23 points, nine rebounds and a block as the Spurs fell to the Warriors in San Antonio 100-91 in Wednesday's Game 2 loss.
The series is tied at 1-1 and now heads back to Golden State's home turf for what should be a wild affair on Friday night. Tony Parker had 20 points, six boards, three assists and two steals on 7-of-17 shooting, Manu Ginobili added 12 points, three boards, four assists and two steals, and Kawhi Leonard finished with 11 points, 12 boards, two assists, a steal and two blocks. Danny Green also played well, especially down the stretch, finishing with 10 points, six rebounds, a steal, a block and two 3-pointers in the loss.

Tim Duncan (flu) believes he'll be fine by Wednesday's Game 2.
Duncan left Monday's Game 1 thriller early and did return briefly in double overtime -- but ended up playing "just" 34 of a possible 58 minutes. Unlike Luol Deng, he's dealing with a common flu bug. Duncan should be more than well enough to start in Game 2 against the Warriors.

Tim Duncan battled the flu in a Game 1 win over the Warriors and finished with 19 points and 11 boards in 34 minutes.
He was unofficially called doubtful in the fourth quarter, but did return late in the game for defense. Duncan was dealing with the flu over the weekend, so he apparently still wasn't well. Duncan played well and shot 7-of-8 from the line and his improvement at the line this year was outstanding, making a career high 82 percent of his attempts. Duncan should be better for Game 2 on Wednesday.

Tim Duncan (flu) is healthy and ready to play in Game 1 vs. the Warriors on Monday.
Duncan sat out Saturday's practice while recovering from the ailment, but it doesn't sound like it will limit him vs. Golden State. Tiago Splitter (ankle) remains a game-time decision, while Boris Diaw (back) is considered probable.

Tim Duncan missed practice Saturday due to a stomach bug.
Duncan is expected to be fine in time for Monday night's Game 1 against the Warriors. We'll sideline him just to be safe, but owners in playoff pools should expect Duncan to be active and ready to go Monday.

Tim Duncan shot 12-of-16 for 26 points in Friday's blowout 120-89 win over the Lakers to take a 3-0 lead, while adding nine boards, three assists, one steal and one block in 31 minutes.
Tony Parker also turned in a nice outing with 20 points, three boards and seven assists in just 27 minutes. The Spurs won the rebounding battle 49-35 as well as producing more 19 fastbreak points to LA's six. San Antonio also shot 61.2 percent from the field and they really got anything they wanted throughout the game. They're a good bet to close out this series on Sunday at Staples Center.

Tim Duncan shot 6-of-15 from the field for 17 points with 10 boards and three steals in a 91-79 Game 1 win over the Lakers on Sunday.
He hasn't been very successful against the Lakers this season, so the sub-par line is nothing new. In his three games vs. the Lakers this season, Duncan averaged 16.3 points and 8.7 boards on 44.4 percent shooting. Duncan may have to exert more energy on defense with the Lakers attempting to pound the ball inside and he'll have a positive impact in almost every game even if the stat sheet disagrees.

Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard are expected to play on Wednesday against the Wolves, and Manu Ginobili has a chance to play, as well.
This could all change in a moment's notice and there could be some wonky workloads, but this is a small bonus considering the Spurs don't have any playoff seeding to play for. Check back in periodically to see if Pop changes his mind.
