Smart was held scoreless Sunday in a loss to the Clippers, missing all six of his field goal attempts. His only other contribution in the box score were three rebounds in his 18 minutes. Smart also picked up three fouls in his short time on the floor. Isaiah Thomas and Phil Pressey both saw time in the backcourt off the bench. This was the fewest number of minutes that Smart has played in a game since Jan. 23.

Smart scored two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt) to go along with one rebound and two steals in 23 minutes Monday against the Nets. Smart saw limited playing time in his return from a suspension Monday as Evan Turner did a great job running the team's offense. Smart has shown flashes of promise, but is too inconsistent at this time to be a significant factor for fantasy owners.

Smart will start at point guard Monday versus the Nets, the Boston Globe reports. Smart will reclaim his starting position after serving a one-game suspension for punching Spurs forward Matt Bonner below the belt last Friday. Expect Smart to fill his usual role moving forward, beginning Monday against Brooklyn.

Smart (suspension) served his punishment Sunday and should be available to go Monday against the Nets. Smart has been solid the past month, averaging 9.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.8 three-pointers made in March. He's a fringe option in standard leagues due to his poor percentages (33 percent FG, 70 percent FT in March).

Smart, who was ejected during Friday's game against San Antonio, will be suspended for one game, Sherrod Blakely of CSNNE reports. Smart picked up a flagrant-2 foul in the fourth quarter of Friday's game after an altercation with San Antonio's Matt Bonner and will miss Sunday's game against Detroit. His suspension leaves Boston very thin at point guard with Isaiah Thomas likely out through Monday. Phil Pressey could see more playing time in Smart's absence.

Smart cooled off Friday against the Spurs, scoring just 10 points in 23 minutes of action. He added four assists and one steal. Smart is coming off a career-best 25 points Wednesday, but it appears he's back to earth in his recent performance. Smart has been borderline standard league material -- averaging 9.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.7 steals, 1.8 three-pointers made, 33 percent FG, and 65 percent FT in March.

Smart scored a career high 25 points (8-14 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 2-4 FT) with nine rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals in 37 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Thunder. This was easily Smart's best game of his career and it came against arguably the best player in the game right now. He has been extremely inconsistent with his negatives out-weighing his positives. He can be left on the waiver wire in standard leagues.

Smart was ejected for a flagrant foul with less than a minute to go in Sunday's loss to the Magic, and he finished the game with 16 points (6-16 FG, 4-9 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and five steals in 39 minutes. Smart's ejection came on a Flagrant 2 call with about a half minute left in the game. Sunday's game broke a streak of three straight games with single-digit points for the rookie. In February, he averaged 9.8 points, 1.6 steals, 4.5 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.

Smart led the Celtics in minutes played Wednesday in the win against Utah. The arrival of Isaiah Thomas has not affected Smart's time on the court. The rookie has averaged 31 minutes, 10.0 points, 3.1 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.3 made treys in his eight games with Thomas. Expect the development of Smart to remain a top priority for the C's.

Smart scored 13 points (3-9 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-6 Ft) with four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 37 minutes during Tuesday's win over the Knicks. He briefly left the game due to a minor ankle injury, but that wasn't enough to keep Smart from seeing big minutes in his start on Tuesday. There's no telling how long Celtics coach Brad Stevens' latest lineup shuffle will last, but Smart should be able to provide some modest value as long as he maintains his current role.
