Smart's inspired tip drill with Evan Turner led to an easy dunk for Avery Bradley in the fourth quarter that broke the game open for Boston. Smart embodies the grit and hustle that has Boston in third place in the East. That usually doesn't translate into gaudy fantasy stats, but Boston is finding success with an even four guard rotation of Isaiah Thomas, Bradley, Smart and Turner. Expect Smart to continue to receive roughly 27 minutes per game.

Smart contributed 12 points (3-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, two assists, and two steals across 21 minutes in Tuesday's 112-111 loss to the Bucks.

Since going off for a career-high 26 points on Jan. 31 against the Magic, Smart has surpassed double digits in the scoring column in only two of the last five games. His averages of 8.8 points, three rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.4 steals over 25.6 minutes during that span really only make him a consideration in deeper formats.

Smart's 26 points matched a career-high, and his five triples were a season-high. This was the first time all season Smart has gone the whole game without an assist. However, he had himself a fantastic performance, competing hard and putting up stats to the final whistle. Smart has hit eight threes in the last two contests, and he has scored in double figures in four of the last five. Though Smart typically doesn't dish many assists or put up eye-popping numbers, he still contributes in every category, and his best days are undoubtedly still ahead of him.

However, there's reason to believe he can improve on his modest averages thus far if he can manage to find some consistency.

Smart will continue to be a decent contributor for Boston off of the bench in a multitude of statistical categories.

He's still only shooting 34.4 percent for the season and 21.5 percent from three-point range, so until he emerges as more of an offensive force, he'll be difficult to trust for consistent scoring outputs.
